"I hope you don't fail." Asia stood up and curtsied.
"Blessings and Glory to the Obelian Empire."
With that, she left and didn't see him for almost a year.

Once they had packed they set out on their journey. It was dark outside when they set off, as Asia mounted her horse she saw Lily and Felix off in the distance. She stopped her horse and looked at Lucas. He was on a black stallion, Asia was on a white spotted mare. Asia stopped and turned around. She was wearing formal officer gear, on her hip was her magic sword. Her hands were gloved and on her shoulder was a red cape. She was wearing a brown holder on her thigh. Her hair was in a braid over one of her shoulders. She looked like a war goddess.

Claude went with Felix to see what all the fuss was about. Then he saw her, she looked not like that wench from his dreams, but like him. She turned to them,
"Hey, guys! We were just waiting for the portal to the tree. We should be back soon." Asia didn't see Claude as he was over on the side. She looked so carefree. Then all of the sudden a portal opened and they were gone. Seeing her turn away and leave, it felt wrong. Claude clenched his fists, that girl was not his daughter.
"God damn it! Why is that thing so God damn persistent!" It had been two months since they had gotten to the tree, turns out fighting the thing took a lot of effort.
'Wonder what everyone's doing back home.'
Well, Jennette is worming her way into Claude's icy heart. Claude is still confused about how she knew what was going to happen. Felix was going on dates with Lily and preparing for Asia to come back. Lily was enjoying her time with Felix and even sparring with him sometimes. Jennette was still a naive little girl from before and trying to win Claude's affections, she was succeeding. Everything was going like the plot, just Asia wasn't there.
After battling the world tree for two-and-a-half months they finally got what they came there for.
"Hey, Lucas, before we go I need you to check something for me."
"Sure, what is it?"
"Check if I cast any black magic on my memory." Lucas looked shocked.
"What!? Why?"
"I died mysteriously in my last life, and I don't think it was a coincidence I died and came here." Lucas looked upset, he checked her. His eyes widened a fraction there was black magic. It hadn't started affecting this body yet but it was still there. Lucas nodded and looked her dead in the eye and nodded. Asia exhaled. She pulled out three world tree branches. Lucas was surprised, 'how did she get three?' After agreeing on the right time to use them, they put the branches in a pocket dimension. Asia sighed,
"I don't even know if I want to see those memories." Asia sat down on the ground near the base of the tree. Lucas looked at her with pity, if those things she said were true, this was going to hurt a lot.
"You have us, you will be ok."
"If I change, let me go off and blow some steam off ok?" Lucas smiled.
As they readied themselves to go back, Asia had an idea.
"What if we take some time off, go relax." She was 14, she wanted to do the whole rebellious stage.
"That sounds nice."
"Maybe we could travel for a month." Lucas was surprised, who knew she would want to give Lily a heart attack?
"Why don't we?" Asia looked up.
"Yes, let's do it." They changed and went on vacation.
They went to multiple places, Siodonna, other kingdoms, and even Artlanta. Turns out they went for two months meaning being gone for four months. Now they were in a cabin on the sea enjoying their last couple of days of relaxation. It was dark out and the moon was full, just like the night they defeated the dragon. Asia and Lucas were sitting on the roof, Asia leaning her head on his shoulder.
"I wish it was like this forever," Asia whispered.
"Me and you or peaceful?"
"Both."
Lucas turned to her and smiled softly, yes this was what he wanted. She was what he wanted. He knew some things would change when they went back, especially once they used the branch. Lucas lifted her chin to meet his face, he leaned his forehead on hers.
"I love you." He whispered. Then she kissed him, gently.
"I love you too."
After going to bed that night they got up the next morning. Deciding not to teleport and ride horseback to the capital. As they rode the horses they left on they talked about everything and anything. Enjoying each other's company.
They had arrived. It was just getting dark when they stood in front of the palace doors.
"I hope they didn't miss us too much." Said Asia. Lucas smiled and hummed. Once the guards saw them they immediately called them over.
"Princess is that you?" It was Favian.
"Favian is that you?! We must have lunch sometime. I think Felix told you that he was training me but that was just a cover-up. I must tell you all the adventures I have been on. Oh! This is Lucas, he went with me on my journey." Favian smiled, this girl never changes.
"Yes, and we must spare. I must see how your skills have improved." Asia smiled.
"Well we must be going, I will see you later."
"See you later Asia." Asia had finally ingrained into the knights' heads to not be so formal with her, she smiled and waved. As they walked, Asia took Lucas' hand in hers.
"Oh, I have missed Lily and Felix. I wonder if they have gone on any other dates. Lucas just smiled and drank up her beauty. Basking in her presence.
They had finally gotten to the door of the Ruby Palace. Asia and Lucas were still in their adventuring gear, Asia quickly changed into the outfit she left in. Lily opened the door and her eyes lit up.
"Asia!" Lily tackled her and Lucas to the ground. Hannah and Ces heard her and joined in on the doggy pile. As the evening turned to night the duo talked to the girls about their adventures. Lily hit them both on the head when she heard they took a two-month vacation.
"Do you know how worried I was! You were gone for over four months!" Lily huffed. The duo looked at each other and were laughing.
"On a more serious note, Jennette moved into the emerald palace a week ago." Asia raised an eyebrow,
"That was quick." Lily nodded and they carried on talking about the trip, and Lily's love life. Turns out Felix and her went on a few more dates. Asia gushed over the two,
"I'm going to bed, goodnight," Lucas said and then kissed Asia's head. Asia smiled and returned the "Goodnight". Lily was smirking when Asia turned her head back around. After they finished talking they retired to bed,
"Tomorrow is going to be a long day," Asia whispered to herself.
