In medias res: In the middle of things.

After Asia left she processed all the things she learned from her memories. It had been six months since she left the palace, it was also her birthday. The north, also known as Aquilo, had slowly but surely been losing. The Obelian troops had only suffered one loss due to poor weather. The troops under the four generals had finally made it past Aquilo's border. The war looked halfway done and the taking of the north should be accomplished within six months.
Lucas and Lily had visited a couple of times, well Lily visited, Lucas had been at camp for a month now. After processing her memories Asia was satisfied with where she was in her life. Although the memories hurt she was able to see the light, they suffered already, and they will suffer when they learn of the mistakes they made. 

Asia and a small quad of knights were out scouting when they were ambushed, everyone was a little banged up but Asia got the brunt of it, with a large wound from the right side of her jaw bone going down to her hip. It was fairly deep but nothing life-threatening, it would leave a scar. Tired, currently cold, and very hungry. The second princess walked across the now-former battlefield and she thought to herself, "How did it come to this?". Well, now you know. After the team had gotten back Lucas was fussing over Asia when she looked him dead in the eye and dragged him into her tent. Putting up a silencing spell,
"It is time, we are halfway done. Use the branches." Lucas had a very serious face,
"Are you sure it is time?" Asia nodded her head then stripped and cleaned her wound. Lucas chuckled,
"Here let me help," After cleaning and dressing her wound, she sent Lucas off to use the branches. Asia smiled and looked over her maps. As she gathered the intel she had received there was a knock on her tent door.
"Commander? It is Clovis, Jason, and Aaron. May we come in?" Asia was only wearing a jacket over her bandages.
"Come in." Asia did not care how she looked but the three were blushing while looking at the commander.
" Um, commander, we were wondering about the troop movements for next week. Also, is Sir Lucas gone?" Said Jason.
"Also Lily is back, I think Lucas teleported her here." Said Aaron. Asia nodded,
"Here are the movements, also send this message to the other generals the plan is set forth. Lucas probably did send Lily here since he left, could you tell her to come in?" The three nodded and bid her farewell. Clovis was from a marquess family, Jason from a count, and Aaron from a Viscount.
"Hey, Asia," Lily said as she entered. She gasped when she saw the state she was in,
"What happened!" Lily treated her wounds only leaving a slight scar. Asia put her coat back on, she was wearing her formal military attire. It looked similar to Claude's formal attire, both with the red and fur-lined cape. Asia had worn stealth gear during her mission that now needed to be repaired. The stealth clothing was all black pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a black hood. Asia explained that Lucas was sent to use the branches, Lily was excited. They would finally see the error of their ways.
The reinforcements would arrive three months before they expected to go home. The other generals sent the reply lining what they would each send. The front lines hadn't suffered many casualties.
With Lucas things were going decently, he had gotten Jennette to agree to use the branch, now they were trying to convince Claude.
"Please Father you must, you might die!"
"How do you know he isn't lying!"
"I have proof." Said Lucas, he then highlighted the black magic that was swirling around Claude.
"It could be a trick!"
"Father these headaches you have been getting, they aren't normal!" Claude was glaring at them.
"Fine be this way, Lucas, let's go. I will use the branch now." Lucas did not care who went first, he just needed to get both of them.
"Wait, why would you need to use it?" Claude did not get an answer as the two had already left the office. The plan went smoothly for Jennette, the black magic was trapped and then removed.
"Wow, I feel lighter almost." Jennette had woken up, the imperial mana wasn't removed so her eyes were still jeweled. Everything was the same except her hair, it was a lighter shade of brown now.
"Alright, I guess we need to go convince Father now." Lucas just nodded and smiled sheepishly. After going back to Claude's office they argued with him some more. Felix was standing outside and was very confused.
"Don't use your grief as an excuse to neglect your daughter Claude. She has gone through too much to have to deal with this when she gets back!"
"Oh, how is Asia doing?"
"She should have Aquilo under imperial control in half a year." Claude was mad, this magician just screamed at him,
"How dare you-!"
"Do not try with me Claude, you may have magic but not as much as me!" Lucas said,
"Just let him try Father, it could help." Claude looked at Jennette,
"Fine." Claude finally relented. After telling poor Felix what was going on they moved to Claude's bedroom.
"I will start now," Pulling out the branch from the world tree, Lucas performed the spell. Instead of waking up like the others, Lucas put him to sleep.
"Best only me being here when he wakes up, he locked away some very traumatic memories." The two nodded and left, Lucas then lifted the spell. After a few minutes, Claude woke up. Looking around and seeing Lucas,
"Was it all a bad dream?" Lucas shook his head.
"Asia wanted me to use the spell when she was away." Claude nodded,
"Is she ok?"
"Right before I came back I sent Lily over, she has healing magic." Again Claude nodded,
"Will she ever forgive me?"
"Forgive you? Yes, trust you? That is for her to decide."
"Could you tell me about her?"
"Fine, well it started when she was ten..." Lucas told Claude of all the things they did, places they went to.
"I completely messed up?"
"Yes. I'll leave you be. Goodnight." With that Lucas teleported away.
"I don't like that guy." With that Claude went and sat on his couch. He thought about everything her remembered, Diana,
"I'm so sorry." Diana smiled down on him from her place in the universe,
'It will be Ok Claude...'
