"I'm heading out," I told to my mother with the usual response telling me to have a good day as I headed out the house.

Following my usual routine, I immediately took out my bluetooth earbuds

I began taking my usual route to the bus stop at an intersection in my neighborhood. I went on my phone looking at text messages especially the character pull my friend got.

In the corner of my eye I noticed a little girl chasing after her kitten onto the streets as I noticed a car speeding in her direction.

"Look OUT!"

The scene just seconds later would be me laying on the street pavement in all kinds of pain as I could look to see the parents of the girl holding her dearly as the driver that hit me was being berated by other people as some were on the phone as one tried to check up on me as my vision was starting to fade due to the crack in my skull.

Slowly my life began to fade as my vision started fading out as the noise of the world began to fade.

"Atleast I went out saving somebody," I told myself as the darkness enveloped me.

It was nothing but darkness as my mind drifted.

"Ain't I supposed to be dead?"

"Is this some sort of afterlife?"

"Wake up young hero," a voice called out.

"Who," I called out as the darkness faded as a void of light filled the space I was in.

Soon revealing himself in a burst of golden light was none other than Ultraman King.

"Ultraman King," I said in surprise.

"Where, how, Am I " I asked myself.

"You have been chosen to safeguard a universe that is being eyed by the darkness as I place my hopes on you to defend it from the darkness," told Ultraman King.

With the motion of his hand a light in my chest started glowing.

"With Belial's attempt at destroying the universe, as I restored it, an inter-dimensional wave spread out across the multiverse, a lucky few would receive the power of us Ultra," explained King.

"Now a simple question is to be asked, do you accept," asked King.

"I do," answering quickly.

"That was quick young man, you sure want to go down a dangerous path,"

"I easily threw my life away so someone didn't end up dying, taking up the mantle of protecting the entire world from destruction shouldn't be too hard right," I answered not thinking of any reconsideration.

"Very well, defend the light of hope for the world, young Ultraman," told King.

Soon the space around brighten to a literal white void before turning to pitch darkness.

"Thank you."

So yeah I'll be focusing on this story from now on as the other stories was when I had little writing experience and literally just slapped my keyboard with stuff that I thought of.

Oh yeah I'm gonna delete that Abyssal x Reader fanfic as that shit is litteral cringe as I wrote that crap when going through depression and was in a weird edgy emo phase that I despise for who I was at the time.
