"That was a good time," laughed out businessman with his friend walking back from a karaoke bar.
At nearly midnight were two near drunk businessmen walking through a small plaza on their way back to their homes as despite the eerieness of the setting they were in, the known safe nature of Japan in anything crime related put them at ease.
"Oh damn it's getting late, I need to get home soon," one of them said looking at his phone's time.
"Right see you man, hopefully the boss won't put us on the burner. . . Ahhh, AHHHH," shouted the replying businessman as he started pointing at something behind his friend
"What you screamin for?" He asked looking behind to then start screaming as well.
In front of them was a humaniod being with the head of a crow with large glowing yellow eyes which made him scream in fear as well.
Before they could do anything, the crow humanoid aimed a large gun at them and fired a mysterious ray at them causing the two men to shrink in size and getting sucked inside the gun's barrel.

"Starting tomorrow forward, we ask all students to be picked by an adult or travel in groups when leaving school premises for your safety as recommended by the police," announced the school's PA system.
Around a week ago, a series of a disappearances have been occurring in the city and surrounding areas which has led to a near prefecture wide curfew in place as police was trying to figure what was going on.
I would quickly take interest in the cases seeing how Japan doesn't have a habit for crimes compared to most of the world as there's a chance for a more deeper plot. Especially in the world we live in.
No connection has been made as the victims were random at best to where a precieved motive for what was happening is unknown.

I was at my home's lab reconfiguring Bella's hyper key to change it say her name instead of Schickisal's reporting name by her request as the news was playing on my monitor beside me.
Right now, I was looking at locations where the disappearances occurred, not finding any connection other than that them being all within the prefecture and happening at night.
"Hey, Stan," I answered to the cat walking in to my room.
"You need something," I asked him as he walked up to me.
"What you have there," I noticed he was carrying something in his mouth.
He had in his mouth a phone small enough to be carried by him as he dropped it down.
"Meow" he replied as I picked it up.
I turned it on and looked normal with no secret onimous message for me.
After searching through texts and calls, I went to the gallery app and clicked on the first video at the top.
The video began with a couple of kids running for what appeared to be for their lives, grabbing my attention.
As the video continued the camera looked back at what was chasing them.
"Alien Raybeak," I called out.
