Chapter 7: We're All to Blame

100 kilometers off of Odo Island

"Ok that's enough for today, get everything squared away," the Captain of the fishing trawler ordered as the Moon rose higher in the night sky.

As the crew set about their tasks as the boat got underway, one of the crewmen noticed several dead fish rising to the surface.

"Hey boss is that normal?" The new hire asked as the captain made his way over.

"The hell?" The captain called out looking at the droves of fish at the surface.

"Uhh, Satoshi, Sonar is picking up something," the sonar operator said.

"What is it," Captain Satoshi asked.

"Uhh it's big and it's heading towards us," the operator said as the entire display was taken up by the unknown object

"Full Engine! Get Us Moving Now!" The captain yelled. By his words, the boat lurched forward as it began accelerating.

As the boat gained speed, A massive wave sprouted behind them as something emerged from the water. It continued to rise above the water towering over the fishing boat as its crew stared in horror.

2 Weeks later, Chiba Academy

"Explain yourselves." Asked the principal.

"Uh, wait what," Kiana questioned the Principal's words.

Currently, we were in the principal's for as soon as we stepped on the school's premises, the Principal's assistant came over to us asking us to come over to his office.

"Not to be rude Sir, but what do you wish for us to explain," I asked him acting confused as I had a hunch on what this would be about.

"Just a week after you three's enrollment here, you got attacked by a giant monster on your field trip, which you ran off," the principal began the conversation as he pointed at me.

"As then another one tried to directly attack this school, there was an attempted kidnapping on one of you by an alien which turned into some scene out of some tokusatsu show, to then a group of aliens attacked this school and tried to kidnap your fellow students, NOW TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON," shouted the Principal the top of us his lungs.

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, just really bad timing of us coming here" I replied meekly.

"Bad timing huh, well then why was Kiana a target here," The Principal demanded not liking my answer.

"It's classified," replied Kiana as me and Sirin looked at her angrily at the response.

"What's classified," The principal demanded not liking her tone.

Before more could be said several men in black suits with pitch-black sunglasses came into the office

"Who are you," the Principal demanded.

"We're from the National Public Safety Commission and Ministry of Defense, as the police let us in, as sign this and this, and here and here," told the suited men.

"What's this," The Principal asked looking at the several sheets of paper.

"Confidentiality papers," the men answered.
