Chapter 2: Aftermath

"Kiana, Sirin, please let go," I asked them.

"Never," they said in unison.

Since we got back from the botched field trip my two sisters have taken my wellbeing to the max in the fact that they're currently holding me in place in bed and not letting me go since I woke up.

"Please," I asked again.

"Nope," they said again.

"Kiana, I think Stan misses her momma, and Sirin I believe Bella would probably think you don't appreciate her, as importantly, how I'm gonna cook breakfast," I said to them plainly.

"Ok fine, as it better be french toast," told Kiana as she finally let go with Sirin following.

I immediately went down to the kitchen to start preparing what set me free.

Honestly, as much of that situation I would have actually enjoyed back then before being reincarnated, I'm definitely not going to be like some hillbilly from Alabama.

"Good morning Kengo," Bella said with a bow.

"Morning to you as well,  you want anything specific this morning, for saving us yesterday," I asked her.

"No that is all fine, protecting you all is something I take pride in and even then, I didn't land the final blow on that monster," Bella replied.

"Oh come on Bella, the least I can do even then you still drove it away," I reassured her which should took kindly.

As I started preparing the eggs as Bella took out further ingredients from the fridge, as I listened in on the tv playing in the background.

"It's been a day since the appearance of the monsters termed Golba and the giant Ultraman Trigger," told the newscaster.

"Here with us today is Shizuma of Shizuma Research Foundation who was also present at the event," the newscaster said as the camera panned over.

"So Mr. Shizuma tell us about this unknown being," asked the newscaster.

"Well in a separate related ruin there's mentioning of a warrior of light called Ultraman Trigger with a carved depiction of the giant we saw along with the ruins the battle took place being referred to Trigger's resting place as my daughter has helped me translate the writings," told Shizuma on the tv.

"The writings we translated so far talk about a war between a great darkness which the giant Carmeara was a part of against ancient humanity which a lone Savior, Ultraman Trigger had sealed away, as since one of them is now free, it seems Ultraman Trigger has come again in humanity's defense," told Shizuma as it cut to the newscaster ending the segment.

"Oh, the trash is full, let me take it out," Bella said as she took out the bag as she put in a new one before exiting the kitchen.

"So what do you call that attack," asked Tesla coming in, replaying the scene when I finished off Golba on her tablet.

"Zepperion Ray," I replied back.

"Why is that exactly," she asked.

"Cause the beam is made of the elemental substance Zepperion 1996 which my body is made up of it's metallic form,"  I answered.

"1996, wait is that an atomic number, there's no element with that amount," questioned Tesla.

"Because you haven't created it yet as yes it is radioactive but only in energy state when you make physical contact with it as it's non-radioactive in it's solid state," I answered before she asked.
