Boss+River

In the cold of night, river sat on top a building, her hair flowing to the rythm of the wind. Her body relaxed, she closed her eyes. 

Behind came boss, he stood next to her with his hands behind his back. River smiled noticing his presence. "hey boss, came to see me?" she said. Boss scoffed, "i just came to say well done on your job with Joan today, I'm glad to know that there weren't any arguments." 

River rolled her eyes, "yeah well it was tough, but you know she isn't bad." she stood up and turned around. "just old" 

boss couldn't help but smile at river, even though it may seem like he dislikes everyone, its just not the case. River then saw the smile on his face, "its nice to see you smile" she placed her hand on her hip. 

Boss nodded, "I'm just in a good mood today". River smirked, "eh? are you sure it's not because I made you smile?" Boss flicked river's forehead causing her to shout, "oi! what was that for?!" 

boss smiled again, "I'm going to have a chat with Hayden about his job with Eugene, goodnight" and with that said boss left river clueless. 

"tsk, idiot." river laughed
