Episode 1x11 // Treasure Tricked

~Fallen Fortress~

"Boss, I got something for ya," announced Duo Devil.

When Duo Devil saw the room, he was quite shocked. Shards of the fruit of life were scattered across the ground.

"What did you do that for?" asked the employee.

"I've been able to sense that the other half is broken," said Dusk, "Without it, the other is deemed useless."

"OK then," said Duo Devil, "We have captured Fortunator, the champion who deserted us in The War of Crystalia."

"BRING HIM TO ME!"

Duo Devil did what he was told and motioned for the foot soldiers to enter. They followed Duo Devil's order and brought a troubled Fortunator in.

"Dusk! How good it is to see you!" greeted Fortunator, who was struggling in the arms of the Hecklers.

"Don't even start!" shouted Dusk. He raised his dark blade.

"W-wait, I have a proposition!" pleaded Fortunator."If I bring you the Rangers morphers, you let me go."

"Ambitious offer, especially since you couldn't defeat the originals!" replied Dusk, with his blade still raised.

"I still have a few tricks up my sleeve," continued Fortunator.

"Fine," gave in Dusk, "I'll find a plan for you."

~Winter Cove High- History class~

"And our last duo is a trio," announced Mr Maud with as much enthusiasm as a sleeping toad.
"Lance, Keith and Mara,"

"Alright!" exclained Mara, giving Keith a high five.

"We are gonna ace this!" shouted Keith.

"No! Please, just no!" complained Lance. "I can't deal with them."

"Such a shame... anyways, class is over," said Moody Maud. "Get out."

Unfourtunately, Lance had to accept it and had to head out of the class. Once he was outside of the building, Holly spoke to him.

"Hurry up, we have training," she warned.

"Forgot about that..."

~Wilson Labs~

Once all of the Rangers were in the white simulation room and dressed in their training uniforms, Dr Wilson told them what was up.

"Sometimes, you guys will face a foe as strong as a ranger," he announced."So let's put this to a test."

"How exactly?" asked Josh.

"By making a versus game," said the doctor.

"Sick!" approved Keith."Just like a video game."

Lance rolled his eyes. Leave it to Keith to talk about video games in military training.

"Linda, what are the teams?" asked Dr Wilson.

Linda walked onto the set from the tech area.

"It's Josh and Sam versus Holly, Lance and Keith," she told.

"Fine by me," Josh said happily as he looked at Sam.

"Me too," she responded.

"Why am I always paired up with Keith?" asked Lance.
