Enough for You Remus Lupin x OC

Chapter Two

I wake up the next morning and I head straight to the bathroom because I doubt it will be open once the other girls get up.

I brush my teeth and do all that stuff, then I get dressed. I decide I want to look at least halfway decent so I straighten my hair and put on some light foundation, powder, then some mascara.

Lauren says I don't need makeup because I'm naturally pretty, but my mom says I need it or the guys won't like me.

After I finish getting ready I head out to the dorm and all the girls are awake. They are just starting to get ready so I'm glad I beat them to the bathroom. I head over to my little area and water my plants. After that I grab my bag and head to the door.

"I'm going to head downstairs, I'll see you guys later!" I announce.

"Okay, we'll see you later." One of the girls calls back.

I smile to myself because I'm doing great at this socializing thing. I turn and walk downstairs to the common room. For the most part it's empty except for Remus and James who are sitting on the couch. I take a deep breath and walk over to them and sit on the chair in front of them.

"Hey." Remus greets.

"Hi." I say back.

There is a awkward silence for a second before James starts talking, "So Ella, how would you feel about helping us with something?"

I cock my eyebrow because this is really random and I literally met them yesterday.

"James don't-" Remus starts but James stops him.

"We are wanting to play a prank on the Slytherins, but we need....let's say someone small."

I nod telling him to go on.

"We are needing someone small enough to fit in the crawl space above their dorms."

He had me up until he said that.

"What? Crawlspace? That doesn't even make sense." I huff.

"Yes, it does. When you get into the Slytherin common room there is a small gap between the wall and ceiling. It's not supposed to be there, it's like where some of the stone ceiling fell and they haven't fixed it. We found out if you go up there you can crawl all the way back to what we hope is above the dorms. We want you to crawl up there and put a stink bomb up there for us." He explains.

"What if we get caught?" I ask.

"Pfft we won't get caught, are you in?"

I think for a second because we could get in trouble if we are caught, but I might be able to make this benefit me.

"I will, but you have to help me out some too. I don't know where any of my classes are so I want you guys to help show me so I'm not lost all day. I also want you to let me sit with you at meals. You don't have to talk to me but I want to sit with you guys till I find some friends." I wager.

"No problem, and we don't care if you hang out with us. Remus seems to like your having you around seeing as he talked about you nonstop last night." James says smirking at his friend.

Remus's face turns red and I'm sure mine does too.

"I did not, he is full of it." Remus argues.

James must not want to continue this conversation because he jumps up when Sirius and Peter come walking down the stairs. He runs over to Sirius and starts talking to him.

Remus sighs and stands up. "Come on or they'll leave us."

I do as he says and follow the four boys to the Great Hall. We go in and we all sit like we did last night except I take the seat beside Remus. It's a lot emptier that the night before and I'm thankful for it.
