Salam everyone, Zainab here. So since Laraib and I are writing alternate chapters, it's my turn to write this one. Ah, the power I hold *maniacal laugh that you should probably be concerned about*

A girl. One that looks vaguely familiar is being led somewhere with a group of people in the forest darkness. Her back is turned but quickly turns around to the sound of rustling leaves. Is that the Sultan's daughter? Her hands are tied and there is a gag in her mouth. Her eyes were ghostly white with no spark of green in them. Why wasn't she trying to fight out of their grasp? The group of men stopped abruptly at the edge of a cliff with a river flowing underneath holding Mahmelik tight by her wrist. Hayir. The people moved towards the back, one had his hands out about to push her. Hayir. Pitch black. Silence. SPLASH!

"HAYIR!" Mehmet yelled as jerked up heavily breathing. "What, what happened? Where's the enemy?" Sencer said, reaching for his weapon in his sleepy state. His attention turned to Mehmet's heavy breathing. He ran over to him, "Mehmet, kardesh'm, are you okay?" Mehmet turned around to face him," I'm fine, just a bad dream." Sencer looked at him suspiciously, "Okay?..oh just so you know Hace said to meet him outside the Isfahan square after Fajr." Mehmet nodded, still shaken by his dream.

----------

Sencer and Mehmet were right outside the Isfahan square. Usually, Hace was here before them but today he was late. "Hey Sencer, do you think someone kidnapped Hace?" Mehmet said childishly. "Astagfirullah Mehmet can't you ever say something good for once?"

"Excuse me, it's called having an older brother who's dumb and annoying." "What does that have to do with anything?" Sencer asked confused. " I don't know but you're still an annoying piece of sh- "Mehmet, watch your language." A deep voice from behind them said.

Sencer looked dramatically at Mehmet with his mouth agape for a second before turning around to face Hace who only sighed, "What do I do with you children?" Sencer gave an accusing look to Mehmet. Mehmet just scoffed and asked, "What's our mission today Hace?"

"Sencer, you will be going to Shalamzar again to start the second half of your mission. Mehmet, you will go back to meet the Batini and fully gain their trust. Please don't screw anything up." "WHY ARE YOU ALL ALWAYS BLAMING ME, I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING?" Sencer sighed once, rubbing a hand over his eyes, "Mehmet just shut up and go." They parted ways and headed to their designated location.

Mehemet walked inside to the main part of Isfahan hoping to catch a glimpse of anyone familiar he had seen the first time he met them. 'What are you doing Mehmet, they had their faces covered?' He heard Sencer's voice in his head. "Get out of my head, Sencer," He said to himself, with no avail.

An unsettling feeling rose inside Mehmet. His thoughts kept circling back to the Sultan's daughter. Ever since he met her in the forest, he couldn't stop thinking about her. Mehmet mentally slapped himself. "Stop, brain, stop," he said as if he were expecting it to obey his command.

He heard yells and shouts of people, 'Jackpot'. Walking over to the ruckus, he saw a man nod and signaling him to come and follow. Mehmet was being led to somewhere completely isolated. Nothing remained but broken carts and debris. "3..2..1," said the man and started walking away.

"Wait what?" He opened his mouth to say something else but decided it was better to shut up. "Go" About 15 masked men jump out from behind the carts and archers are lined up against the balconies of what remained of the buildings. 'Well, shit.' Mehmet clutched one of his hands on his sword and the other on his dagger. 'Haydi kopekler,' 5 men lunged forward, Mehmet ducked and used the pommel of his sword to knock them out. He let go of his dagger and put his sword back in its sheath. He used both of his hands and jumped behind one of the broken carts to protect himself from the flying arrows.

As the archer's kept shooting, Mehmet quickly took out the leather pouch Sencer gave him, still protecting himself with the broken cart. "Please be something helpful." As he unravels the piece of paper, he read.

'DON'T and I mean DON'T, kill any of the Batini (it might be a test).'

-Sencer

"Yeah no, duh Sencer!". He quickly jumped out from behind the cart and before he could knock another fighter out he heard a man say, "Durr, Stop, Come here." Mehmet hesitantly walks over to the man and stops before him.

The man quickly takes out his sword and lines it along Mehmet's neck. 'Wait, what the shuck?'

The man swings his sword in the air and quickly halts, his sword right before Mehmet's neck. Mehmet didn't flinch nor did he close his eyes. The man laughs for a second before turning serious again. "Come, I have something waiting for you." Mehmet's expression changes. 'I mean the last time I came with you, I was attacked by 15 soldiers but okay.'

Mehmet slowly followed, staying wary of every little movement and every little thing. Tall dark trees, rustling leaves...'Why does this look familiar?' As he kept walking, he noticed that it was already dark, the sun only giving off a bit of its light. Nobody had said a word during the journey and Mehmet was about to ask where they were going but as if somebody read his mind, they all stopped.

A man that was walking alongside them had turned around to face Mehmet. He had ghost-white eyes. 'He..he's blind. Ya Rabb help me because I'm stupid and don't know what I'm getting myself into.'

The blind man using his hands walks over to the leader and says something. The man smiles looking at Mehmet. He signals some other masked men and they all start closing in on Mehmet. 'I swear these people have issues.'

One quickly ties his hands. Mehmet tries freeing himself but it's no use. They shove a gag in his mouth and push him towards a cliff.

'Hayir.'
