Himika was shaken awake by Naruto. She wasn't necessarily a morning person and she definitely didn't like being woken up by other people when she didn't want to be.
"Naruto, what the hell?" she asked.
"Come on Himi! The storm is starting to die down and we need to get going," he said. Himika sat up and looked outside and it was still dark. She groaned and gathered her stuff up. The team left the cave and continued on. They were trying to go as fast as they could, but Naruto felt they were still going slow. He bolted in front of everyone.
"Naruto, you can't do this alone, so slow down," Kakashi said. There was a loud groan heard from him and he fell back. When Himika looked over she saw his eyes were red.
"Naruto, calm down. You can't let the nine tails out, remember?" Himika said. Naruto didn't answer her. She knew he was mad. Gaara was his friend. He helped Gaara get out of the darkness he was in.

The team had finally made it to the hidden Sand village. They needed to know what was going on and in which direction they had taken Gaara. Temari asked where Kankuro was and they told her he was in the infirmary. They ran to the hospital and saw Kankuro hooked up to several wires and the medics were running around frantically.
"What's going on? What happened to him?" Temari asked the head medic.
"He has poison in him and we are struggling to find a cure," he said and went back to what he was doing. Himika could see Temari lose her breath. He was Temari's brother and she felt bad for her. Himika looked at Sakura.
"Sakura, you studied under Tsunade. You've read almost every medic book in the village. Pair it with my jutsu and anything you know and we can save him," Himika said. Sakura nodded and the girls tied their hair back. They set their stuff down in the corner and got suited up in medical gear.
"I need a bowl of hot water," she said. The medics did what she said and Sakura looked at Himika.
"This is going to be difficult. I've only done this a couple of times. It will hurt so he needs to be comforted," she told Himika. She nodded and took a deep breath, using her jutsu, she placed a hand on Kankuro's head and closed her eyes. She concentrated on taking the pain away and giving him good memories while Sakura worked on him, pulling the poison out. It was a long procedure and it was taking a toll on both of them. Towards the end of the procedure, Himika's eyes snapped open and she fell backwards into Kakashi.
"Hey there Sensei." She said weakly, looking up at him. Kakashi helped her up.
"You guys have been working for about six hours. I'm impressed. Good job kiddo," he said. Himika wiped the sweat off her forehead and looked at Sakura who was doing the same thing.
"Did you get all of it?" Himika asked. Sakura nodded her head and took off her gloves.
"I did, now we just wait for him to wake up. Which shouldn't be too long since he wasn't in that much pain during the procedure," she said. As they talked about the type of poison used, they heard a cough from behind them. They turned to see Kankuro sitting up. Temari rushed to give him water.
"Kankuro! We need to know where Gaara was taken," Temari said.
"Jeez, give him a minute Temari. He literally just woke up from an extensive procedure," Himika scolded. Temari brushed her off and asked Kankuro again.
"They took him north. I heard Sasori say something about a cave," he said. Himika turned to Kakashi.
"That cave, it has to be one of the Akatsuki's hide outs. If they took him there two days ago then it's possible they already have Shukaku," she said. She turned back to Kankuro.
