Himika had gotten word that Lady Tsunade was back and that it was time for her to leave. She packed her things up and sealed them in a scroll. She packed the necessities in a bag and shoved the scroll in. She noticed Shikamaru get up as well. It was like she could feel his emotions. When she was ready she walked to the door. She looked back to see Shikamaru standing in the living room.
"Shika?" she asked softly. He barely moved.
"I'll meet you at the gate, Himi," he said softly. She didn't want to push him. Right now it was a fragile moment for both of them. They had just got each other back and now she had to leave again. She left with a final glance at him and walked to the Hokage's mansion. When she entered she saw Yamato and Iruka.
"Where's Naruto?" she asked.
"He should be on his way. I just sent word to him," Yamato said. Himika nodded her head.
"Before he arrives I just wanted to let you know that you were supposed to be the only one knowing you three were going to be hiding out. Naruto normally can't keep his mouth shut and now that he knows war is going to happen he's going to want to be antsy and want to be in the middle of everything," Lady Tsunade said. Himika shrugged her shoulders.
"I'm sure I can talk some sense into him," she said. Tsunade leaned back in her chair.
"I hope so because if you three get captured then it is over for all of us," she said. Suddenly, the door opened up revealing a tired Naruto.
"Glad you could make it," Himika said. Naruto wiped the sleep from his eyes.
"Glad someone is a morning person," Naruto said.
"You two need to listen closely and carefully. Only the people in this room know where you are going. You will listen to every order given to you by these two and you will not argue. While you are in hiding you will train and remain silent. If I find out you two have decided to leave and join us I will put you back there myself. Am I clear?" Tsunade said. The two nodded in understanding.
"Will we know the location of where we are going?" Himika asked.
"It would be too dangerous for the both of you to know," Tsunade said. Himika nodded her head. The group left and walked to the gates. There she saw Shikamaru waiting at the gates. He was looking down and Himika could feel he was sad and upset. She walked up to him and gently placed her hand on his arm. He looked at her.
"Shika, I know this is hard. I don't want to leave either. I want to be with you out there and fight by your side, but Lady Tsunade won't let me," she said.
"I know, I-I just..." Shikamaru trailed off. Himika took him in for a hug. She felt his tears hit her shoulder. She gently rubbed his back.
"I know. I know Shika. I will be there with you as soon as I can," she said to him. Shikamaru pulled away from her.
"About that," Yamato said. She turned to him to see he had two chakra bracelets in his hand.
"What are those for?" she asked him. Iruka looked down. She could sense he was not in agreement with it.
"Lady Tsunade wants us to take extra precautions with you. Given that you possess this new power of yours," he said. Himika glared at him but she held out her wrists. He placed the cuffs on but Himika could still feel her chakra flowing. She didn't say anything, but she would wait until the time was right.
"Is it really necessary to have those on her Yamato?" Shikamaru asked him. He nodded his head.
"People can sense her chakra from miles away. If any one of our enemies gets a sense of it then we will be found," he said.
