Once you guys get inside the castle and get seated at the slytherin table you all spend your time there talking mostly during the sorting ceremony for the first years. But when the food appeared all anyone was doing was eating.
You look over at Draco and see that he is trying to look civilized while eating but can't help but relax when he take a bite of a turkey leg.
You couldn't blame him either. You took a big bite of the turkey and instantly were amazed.
After an hour of eating with everyone being stuffed and full and unable to take another bite, the food suddenly dissolves into thin air and dissapears. Dumbledore comes up to his podium with a gentle smile on his old but wise face.
"Welcome back to another year at hogwarts! Now, I must warn you. That while I do want you to enjoy your time here while at school, I also advise you to be smart. As you may have heard, Sirius Black is on the loose. In order to catch him we have dementors here hunting the grounds at all times to keep our students safe."
You hear some gasps spread around the room and people start murmuring. You look over at Draco who swallows hard and looks nervous while Pansy clutches herself tighter to his arm. You roll your eyes at the embarrassment you feel for both Draco and Pansy.
"The dementors are not to be bothered with. They can kill a thousand souls with just a touch of a finger....... And with that I send you to your dorms to bed."
When everyone else starts getting up you and the rest of the slytherins all stay seated with stunned looks and feeling nothing but a little fear and excitement. You look over at Draco who looks like he's having trouble breathing. But then you realize that's probably because Pansy has begun squeezing herself tightly to his upper torso.
"Hey Pansy!" You say, trying to distract her.
"Why don't you and I go ahead to our dorm rooms and get ready for bed! I'm sure the boys are about to do the same!"
Pansy looks up at Draco nervously but slowly lets go and you can see his chest expand as he takes advantage of the air.
As you and Pansy are walking down The Great Hall you look over your shoulder at Draco who mouths, "Thank you" and you just respond with a *wink* and a smile.
