Never In A Million Years/ A Draco Malfoy and Y/N Fanfic(YEAR 3)

As you and Pansy walk to 1st period together which happens to be Potions with Professor Snape. Pansy decides to trust you with a few secrets she knows about Draco.

"For the duration that me and him were dating, he was starting to show signs of becoming depressed..." She said with a concerned face.

"I would always ask him things like how he is, what hes doing, where he's going, and etc. There was a time when for the longest time, he wouldnt tell me much other than that he was fine."
She takes a deep breath before continuing. Still displaying an emotion of concern on her face.

"After about 3 months of him dissapearing, I've had enough of it and asked him again what was bothering him. He wouldn't tell me. So that night when he left his dorm, I followed him and he went into the Great Hall. He went to go meet his parents. He didn't look very happy. In fact, he looked quite serious."

"Did you hear what he was talking about with his parents??" You asked.

".....ya, kinda. It was something about some sort of ceremony? And things being planned? I don't know more than that. The bad thing though, happened when he spotted me. His parents followed his gaze to me and they say me too....They weren't happy. Th- they-"
She stopped talking. Pansy looked like she was about to cry.

"What happened?" You asked. A little ashamed of pressuring her but you still needed to know if you wanted to help.

"His father used the Crucio curse on him.... all because of me....." Pansy looked like she was gonna fall.

You cover your mouth with horror. Even though you don't know much about the Crucio curse, you've seen enough wizarding news to know how bad it is.

"Omg" is all you've managed to say.

"I was such a coward. I ran.... I ran away back to our dorms with his screams of pain behind me. I remember how angry his father looked and how scared and sad his mother looked. I went back in my dorm room and just sat and stared into space for what felt like hours before Draco finally came back....you should've seen him. He looked like he had no energy and he was all bloody. I helped him get on his bed and once he was finally asleep, I didn't want to risk getting him hurt again so I wrote him an apologetic break up note. We haven't really had many conversations since then...."

You two reached the potions classroom and stopped talking before walking in. Pansy took her seat and you took the only other empty seat.....

Right next to Draco.
