it is too late for us
I will never believe
in a better future
perhaps it could have worked
I will stop telling myself
hope will win
the world is going to end
I lied when I said
we can overcome any hardship
because now I know
that it is impossible to win
and
the world ending is inevitable
there is no way
no matter what anyone says
