A High school story

New-Everything!

Mom and dad had some news at dinner. "Guys, we have some news", mom started. "With the new arrival of our beloved Ava, looks like we need to have some new and bigger things", she said. What did she mean by that???

I asked her. "Such as a new car, and...New house", dad added. We all broke down. "What?! A new house! But I love this one, no we can't move!!!", I wailed. "Is it going to be out of state? I can't go to a new school mom! I love Monroe High", Axl complained. Mom and dad looked at our faces. "We have no other choice, this house is too small for the 6 of us", mom said.

"But don't worry, we will be staying here in this area, so you can keep your school", dad also added. A wave of relief refreshed our minds.

That night I thought about it. I've been in this house for so many years, I can't imagine leaving. Mom said we we're leaving in a couple of days because they already bought the house and the new car. When you think about it, our house is a little small. It was one story with only 4 bedrooms.

At school the next day, I told Scott when we were at lunch. "So turns out that we are moving", he suddenly became very upset. "What? Why?", I felt so bad, but it was good news. "It's because of Ava, and my parents realized our house is too small. But I'm still going to stay here in this area, and I'll be able to still see you every day", I said holding his hands.

After school mom and dad took us to check out the new house. When dad pulled up into the driveway all of us were stunned. It was HUGE!!!!!!! "How many bedrooms and bathrooms does it have", I asked looking in amazement. "It has 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms", dad answered. I got out of the car before and Axl.

Dad opened the door.

"Oh my gosh, this place is beautiful!", I said looking at the kitchen. The best part of buying a house is..... choosing your room!!!!

Axl and I raced upstairs to find where the bedrooms were and called one. They were already painted in 6 different colors. I chose the one with the pink because pink is my FAVORITE color.

"Dad? Can we also get our own bathrooms?", I called from upstairs. "Sure, whatever you want!", he answered.

I LOVE it!!!

Forget our old house!

We went downstairs and talked in the dining room. "So, how do you guys like the house?", mom asked in curiosity. Axl and were talking in unison. "That's great, now let's go see the new car", my dad said getting up. Yay!!! New car! The space in the car wasn't big enough for us anyway, so yeah. Dad took us to the garage and there it was. It was a big tan dodge SUV. "Wow, it's also big", the day keeps getting better and better!

All of a sudden, a thought occurred. "Wait! If you got a new car, then what's going to happen to the old one?", I asked. Mom and dad smiled at each other. "We thought about it, and we want to give it to someone who really deserves it", dad said as he pulled out his old keys out of his pocket. "Omg! I get to have your old car?!?!?!", I squealed. I hugged him and took the keys.
