Corruption, a ten-lettered word,
Man-made, deceptive and highly absurd.
Criminal in nature - dishonesty
Despite the benefits and rewards
Promised by he.
Corruption hurts everyone
Especially those oppressed
By someone acting authoritarian.
Eroding trust,
Rendering understanding into dust;
Bringing about distrust and ew ... disgust
Corruption interrupts;
Distrusts everyone,
And is rather abrupt.
Shaping individuals into barbarians
With bribery, greed and avarice
You see, apparently, it seems
To you and to me
That they have already won.
Their reason for this fraudulence
It is oftentimes quite outrageous
If not as scandalous
As the crime of the wicked Greek
And son of Zeus, king Tantalus
