°•Chapter 2: Children..?•°

The sounds of children laughing filled the air as a new day in new shiganshina slowly passed, the sounds of parents playing with their children reached a certain ravenettes ears. Looking down at a small light brunette boy that sat on her knee as she told him a story of how the old shiganshina fell, but obviously left out a few bits to not scare the poor boy.

"Why don't you go find Uncle Armin? I'm sure he knows alot more then I do." The raventte chuckled, smiling as the light brunette gently tugged on her scarf as he got off. "Okay!.. where is he?" The light brunette looked back at his mother, the sunlight making him look the spitting image of his father.

"He's around by the lake, where you and Rabbit always hang out." She answered her son, ruffling his hair gently. Chuckling as the boy moved away from his mothers hand.

"Oh! Can you take me? Pleaseee?" The light brunette pleaded, his yellow eyes shining with excitement.

The ravenette sighed. "You're old enough to know the way Bone, but alright. I'll take you." She smiled, carefully standing up off of the bench and began walking in the direction of the lake. The boy now known as Bone running to catch up with his mother.

--~With Armin and Rabbit~--

The sounds of a girl squealing with laughter filled the air, with a blonde haired male chasing her. Laughing as well. "I'm gonna get you!" He called, smiling as the freckled brunette girl squealed with excitement.

The blonde stopped for some air, looking up when he heard someone call his name. "Uncle Armin!" He looked around, spotting a light brunette rushing towards him and hugged him, hugging the young boy back. "Heya buddy, wheres your mother?" Armin questioned, ruffling the boys hair.

"She's coming now!" The light brunette pulled a slightly disgusted face. "She stopped to talk to my daddy"

Armin chuckled, smiling as he saw the light brunette rush off the his adopted daughter. The two hugging then running off to play.

"Hey Armin." Armin turned round, seeing his best friend standing there. Opening his arms for a hug, which the ravenette quickly accepted. Pulling her friend in for a hug. "How are you and Rabbit?" She questioned, Armin smiling. "We're fine! I'm just a bit stressed. Ya know with the disappearance of Eren and having to raise a child alone." He admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.

The ravenette's eyes softened and she put a hand on the blondes shoulder, squeezing it gently. "Oh Armin, you know you can always come to me or Jean for help. We have two kids, I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping out." She lifted her hand from his shoulder, putting it down back at her side.

Armin whined. "Mikasa I know, but I don't wanna feel like I'm harassing you two. I've already asked for help alot of times, I don't wanna overdo it." He muttered.

"Armin, you're overthinking again. We don't mind, I'm glad you're asking for help." Mikasa glared at Armin, but turned round when she heard a girls voice. "Mom!" She looked down, seeing a small ravenette female. Having green eyes with her mothers black hair, it was unknown where she got her green eyes from, though that was a mystery only Jean, Armin and Mikasa know of.

"Why hello Abbii, how are you?" Mikasa crouched, picking her daughter up and holding her. "I'm fine! Me, Bone and Rabbit played tag all day!" The girl exclaimed, clearly having had a fun time with her younger brother and friends. Armin smiled, patting the girls head before looking up when wall guards announced that someone had entered the wall, wanting to speak to two certain people.

Mikasa raised a brow in curiosity, going towards the gate when she saw a all too familiar face. Long dark brown hair, green eyes. It was him, he's alive, her grey eyes widened with shock as she saw her childhood friend. Looking over her shoulder at the blonde. "Take the kids and go." She whispered, the blonde nodding and getting his daughter and the other two children and quickly rushed them away from the adults.

"After all these years, you're still alive?" Mikasa said, looking at the brunette with a confused gaze. "Indeed, I needed some time to practice my abilities more. And have some time to myself for once without you watching over me like a concerned mother." The males voice was filled with venom as he spoke, looking the female up and down quickly. "You haven't changed." Mikasa glared at him. "I can say the same for you." She said, trying to match his bitterness.

"Let's catch up for a bit, we haven't seen eachother in.. 6 years?" Eren grinned, though it wasn't his usual one that was pure happiness, this one was fake. He was up to something, but Mikasa agreed anyways. Nodding her head. "Yeah, follow me. I know a good spot where we can catch up." She turned her back to him and walked off, knowing the brunette will catch up anyways.

Mikasa had led Eren to the house top they always used to go to, before the brunette left atleast. catching up with what happened while the two were leaning on the fence,looking over new shiganshina

"Oh, so you are dating horse face?" Eren questioned taking a sip of his drink as Mikasa nodded. "Married, actually." She heard familiar giggling, and her heart sank but she attempted to ignore it. Hoping the girl wouldn't come in.

"Abbii! Not in there!" Armin's muffled voice filled the air as he quickly rushed after the girl but it was too late before the 6 year old came thoughts doors, giggling but the sounds of the childs excitement quickly ran out as she saw the two adults, one she didn't recognise. "Who is that?" The 6 year old questioned, her green eyes gazing into his. The exact shade of green.

Mikasa let out a quiet nervous chuckle. "Hey sweetie, this is a friend of mommys. Now can we talk? Me and my friend have some catching up to do." She put a hand on her daughters head, already feeling Erens burning gaze on her.

"Hm.." She didn't have a chance to answer before she was quickly took away thanks to Armin, leaving the two adults alone once again.

".. you're a mother? Why didn't you say?" Eren questioned, looking at her with slightly wide eyes."mother to two." She replied. "But that's not important right now, let's go." She quickly turned and walked towards the door, not wanting to stay on the subject any longer.

"..Fine." Eren followed the ravenette, going down a flight of stairs and leaving the building. "You better get going, it'll be dark soon." Mikasa looked at the brunette, to her surprise he agreed and said his goodbyes before leaving to get a bed for the night.
