The sounds of wood clashing against eachother was heard throughout the training area, along with the cheering of a blue eyed ginger male who had just knocked his training partner over. "Ah ha! I win!" He cheered before putting his hand out to help the other up, a small smile made it's way to his face as she accepted and pulled herself up, once on her feet she dusted herself off. "Good work Zinc, you're improving already. Knocking me off my feet was just a starting point." She complimented, giving Zinc a small pat on the shoulder before turning to grab her cadet jacket.

"Actually, Abbii can I.. tell you something?" When hearing him, Abbii turned, looking at him with a questionable gaze. "Go on." She said, grabbing a hair tie from her wrist and putting her hair into it's normal ponytail. Seeing his rather flustered state, Abbii already guessed what he was going to say. And her heart broke, diverting her green gaze to the ground she waited for what he was about to say. "..I love you, Abbii Kirstein, and if you were to just give me a chance!--" Abbii cut him off with a raise of her head to look at him. "I'm sorry, I don't feel the same." "But!--" she shook her head. "I'm sorry Zinc, we can still be friends.. but I don't feel the same way as you." She said as a small sigh escaped her lips.

Shifting her gaze back to him after taking a nervous look around, she noticed he seemed almost.. mad? That she hadn't accepted his feelings? His eyes had this.. angered glint to them, his brows were furrowed and he had this frown on his face that almost turned to a scowl. "Fine, whatever." He said with a huff. "Zinc, wait." She attempted to call but it just fell on deaf ears, watching as he grabbed his stuff and walked off. Though halfway he started running, Abbii felt her heart fully shatter. She had enjoyed this friendship and now it was gone.

Making her way back to her and Rabbit's room, she pushed open the door only to see her friend sitting on the bottom half of the bunk bed. The girl lifted her head and ran to comfort the ravenette, noticing she was sad and sat her in the spot she was originally in. "Okay, tell me everything that's happened." Rabbit demanded, crouching infront of Abbii and listened closely as she spoke. "Well, me and Zinc have been training all day and when we were packing up to leave and take a break he confessed that he had feelings for me. Of course I rejected him because I don't feel the same and he got.. mad? And now I'm pretty sure our friendship is over."

Once she was finished Abbii hugged her knees into her chest, holding them close as she felt her friends arms wrap around her, leaning into Rabbit's touch she closed her eyes as she exhaled. They stayed in that position for a few minutes till Rabbit slowly pulled away, giving Abbii a soft smile. "Men are jerks." She said, causing a small amount of laughter between the two females. "Well except for Bone." Rabbit said, earning a small whistle from Abbii. "You can't say anything! I've seen you hanging around that Hornet guy!--" Rabbit declared only to have a hand shoved over her mouth. "Be quiet!" Abbii said between laughter. Once being free from her friends grip, Rabbit giggled. "So you admit it!" Abbii rolled her eyes playfully. "Admit what?" She asked, playing dumb which only ended with a pillow being whacked against her.

Throughout the girls laughter, a certain ginger male had caught some of the conversation. His blue gaze narrowing as he glared at the ground. "Hornet.." he whispered, his voice breaking a little, balling his fists he spoke again. "So that's who's she's interested in.." he glared at the door, scoffing and making a sharp turn to leave. Just as he left he saw Eren leaving the gate on a horse, a small smirk making it's way to his lips.

"You're going to pay for breaking my heart, Abbii Kirstein..."
