°•Chapter 5: Roommates!•°

Rushing into the cabins, Abbii looked among the crowd of cadets for her brother and his friend, when she spotted the two near the couch she immediately walked over. The two giving her a friendly smile when they saw her. "This place is pretty nice" Rabbit commented, looking around the small living room. "Mhm, I guess." Bone shrugged, looking up when the door opened. Revealing commander Armin with Captain Levi, about to give more orders.

"I see you've all settled in, once you've all gotten comfortable please head down to the mess hall. Once we return from dinner I will come and announce the roommates for the next 3 years." Commander Armin ordered, smiling as he got understanding nods, turning on his heel and leaving with Captain Levi behind him.

"I can't wait to start training, its gonna be so fun!" Rabbit exclaimed, only to look over when she saw the brunette from earlier walking over. "Hey, Hornet right?" She questioned, making the rather short boy look up and nod. "Could I possibly join you? I don't really know anyone here." He looked at the three, getting an approving nod from Abbii. "Of course! Abbii" she nodded her head towards her brother and his friend. "Bone and Rabbit." She introduced, Hornet nodding again. "Hornet."

Abbii turned when she felt a tap on her shoulder, revealing the ginger-haired boy from earlier. "Hey! Just wanted to say that you were amazing at the yard." He cleared his throat nervously, Abbii giving a small smile. "Aw, thank you. You did good too." She noticed a small hint of pink on his cheeks but ignored it, assuming it was from the bitter cold of the cabin instead of the other possibility.

"Zinc! Where are you?!" A females voice called, causing the ginger to turn. "I'm here you blind rat!" He called, the red tinted ginger coming out from the crowd. Blinking in confusion at Abbii. "Wow, you managed to talk to someone." She scoffed, the male of the two glaring at her then turning back to Abbii. "Apologies, anyways I'm Zinc, and this is my sister Blaze." He smiled, Abbii giving a smile back. "Abbii, Hornet, Rabbit and Bone."

Bone gave the siblings a smile, but went back to talking with Rabbit. "Anyways, we should get going." Zinc smiled, giving a small wave before quickly walking off.

Blaze glared at Abbii, before following her brother. The ravenette looking at her in confusion before shrugging and turning to the four. "Wanna get going to the mess hall?" Rabbit nodded. "Of course! I'm starving!" She glared at Bone as he chuckled. "You're always starving." He commented with a grin, before going towards the cabin door. Where the three friends followed.

--~At the Mess Hall~--

Abbii held the spoonful of rice, eating it as she listened to Rabbit ramble about anything that came to mind. Turns out Hornet wasn't that bad as she had first thought, though he was hesitant he joined them at a table and was actually fitting in with the three person friend group. Looking up when Bone started talking. "Wow, this foods better then mom's. Don't you think?" Abbii shrugged. "I mean, moms cooking is the best but it is nice." She giggled as her brother only rolled his eyes and ate more of his food.

"So.. how did you three meet?" Abbii turned her attention to Hornet, who spoke, and smiled. "We all met back in new shiganshina, our parents were friends." She explained, the brunette nodding in understanding. "I have one or two friends back in Candison, but not many. I wasn't that social." He shrugged, Abbii nodded but looked up when Zinc came over and sat at a nearby table with Blaze.

Abbii grabbed her nearly empty bowl, leaving the table to put it into a bin where the commander had explained where it should go so it can get cleaned. Returning to the table she felt as if she was being watched, turning to look over her shoulder she didn't see anyone looking at her. Possibly her imagination.

"Bone and Zinc, room 4." Armin read off of a paper, Abbii hearing her brothers sigh of Relief, He and Zinc had began to become close friends. Clicking almost instantly. When she heard her name her head looked towards the Commander. "Abbii and Rabbit, room 2." He nodded his head on the direction of the room, atleast she was with someone she knew. She did feel bad for Bone though, but knowing him he would probably get along with Zinc perfectly as they shared similar energy. Now they just had to wait for tomorrow.
