Chapter 5...blood, pain and hospitals

Monday morning

Sub´s P.O.V
I walk into school in a amazing mood, Eva is my girlfriend now, I have never felt so happy exept when my mother was alive. As I walk to history I felt a slight bounce in my step, I walk into class and found that I couldnt concentrate on my work, my teacher must have noticed because she asked me to stay behind after class. ¨Sub, you really need to concentrate on your work or your going to fall behind¨ she said sternly, I nod my head and look at the floor ¨right off you go now¨ she said waveing me away. I quickly run to R.E hopeing that I am not late, I was late by 5 minuets. My teacher said that I would have to stay behind at break time as detention, I nod my head and walk over to my seat. The hour passed quickly but I had to stay another 5 minuets to pay for being late, I quietly texted Ty under the desk, ¨Ty, tell everyone that I am stuck in R.E for detention and that I will be there soon¨ I text ¨yeah sure Sub, now get your phone away before you get another detention¨ he replied ¨thanks and okay :)¨. I put my phone back in my pocket and wait for my teacher to dismiss me As soon as he says that I could go I run to the tree, when I got there everyone was sat around as usual ¨hey Sub¨ Adam yells ¨heyy Sub, how  was detention¨ Ty asks grinning. I wave and make a ´are you serious´ look at Ty, Eva was sat on our usual branch in the tree. I climb up the tree and sit next to her, she smiles and gives me a big hug ¨hi Subby¨ she whispers. I smile back and mouth ¨hey¨ back, I kiss her cheek and she turns pink. Roxy looks at Eva´s pink cheeks and smirked, Eva sees this and hides her face in my shoulder. We all sit and talk for a while but the bell rings for next lesson, I jump down from the tree and offer my hand to Eva, she takes it and lands neatly next to me.  I had P.E with Ian and husky, before I went with them I gently brush my lips against Eva´s, she blushes and waves before walking to biology. Ian nudges me ¨get in there Sub¨ he grins, I blush and turn my head away. We were useing the fitness equipment in P.E, Ian noticed me useing the pull-up bar ¨come on Sub keep going¨ he coached me. I continued to pull myself up on the bar, I got up to 27 pull ups before I had to stop, Ian patted me on the back ¨well done Sub, you improved since last time. I smile and nod, I moved to the rowing machine and started pulling on the bar. Our teacher let us go 15 minuets early so we could go and shower and change. After showering and putting my clothes back on I walked to geography, I really hate this lesson because I have to sit next to Patsy. She always brags about how popular she is or she flirts with me. The teacher was not in so we had a substitute teacher, this was not good because it means we don´t have to do anything. Patsy usually trys to do stuff to me in these lessons, like once she tried to feel my leg but I wriggled away from her. And another time she tried to hold my hand and even tried to kiss my cheek. I sit in my seat and pull out my smaller sketch book, I look at the photos that Ty took of me and Eva in the park. I tried to decide which one I was going to use for my suprise for Eva, I started to draw one of the photos but I was disrupted by Patsy ¨hey babe¨ she said leaning on me. I felt really unconfortable so I moved my seat as far away from her as I could and continued to draw. She wouldn´t leave me alone though, she snatched up one of my photos. It was my favorite one, mine and Eva´s first official first kiss. Patsy pulled a face and flicked the photo onto the floor, frowned at her and picked my photo up and tucked it into my sketch book. ¨come on Sub, I am much better than her¨ Patsy lied, I raised my eyebrows and pointed to the long thin scratch she made on my left cheek. ¨that wasn´t my fault Sub, it was that little slut´s¨ she pleaded, I felt my blood start to boil. She called Eva a slut, this made me very angry. I shoved my book into my bag and picked it up, I walked over to the teacher and handed him a note from my pocket, it would exuse me from lesson seeing as I have a few social problems I get a pass to get me out of lesson if I feel nervous or frightened. I took my note back from the teacher and ran out of the classroom, I ran to the room downstairs where I have social therapy. Miss Laysie smiled and sat me down ¨hello Sub, are you alright¨ she asked, I shook my head ¨no Miss, Patsy Mandres said something horrible about my girlfriend and it made me really angry¨ I said in sign language. Miss Laysie taught me sign language when I first came to this school, it has helped me tell her my feelings and ask her for help ¨who is your girlfriend Sub?¨ she asked me ¨Eva Lee, she moved to my friend Ty´s foster home¨ I said ¨what does she look like¨ she asked, I pulled out my sketchbook and carefully took out my photos. I placed them on the table and smiled, Miss Laysie picked one up slowly and looked at it ¨she looks very pretty Sub¨ she said. I smile and nod ¨so what did Patsy say about Eva that made you so angry¨ she asked before putting the photo back on the table, I hesitated before signing what she said ¨she said that it was Eva´s fault that I got this cut on my face when it was Patsy, and she called Eva a slut¨ I signed. Miss Laysie put her hand up to her mouth and looked at the cut on my cheek ¨I am Eva´s first boyfriend and Patsy has been out with every single boy in our year and above ¨ I signed angrily ¨calm down Sub you shouldn´t get angry, we can sort it out¨ Miss said ¨do you know why Patsy is acting this way towards Eva¨ she asked ¨she is jealous because I won´t go out with her¨ I signed. Miss and I continued to talk about how I could not get angry and how I could ignore Patsy, I thanked Miss Laysie for her time and went to lunch. I run to the tree and suprisingly I had gotten there before everyone else, I sat on my branch in the tree and waited for everyone. They arrived at the tree in a big group, they looked up at my and laughed ¨Sub?! your usually here way after us¨ Adam exclaimed ¨did you go to therapy or something¨ Ty asked. I nod and smile, Eva comes and sits next to me.Everyone eats their lunch and talks, Eva asks me why I went to therapy so I wrote a note explaining about my social and anger difficultys. She reads it carefully before saying ¨do you know sign launguage Sub¨. I nod my head exitedly ¨you should use sign language its much quicker than writing notes¨ she says in sign language I chuckle slightly ¨okay, I will use sign launguage¨ I signed. Adam looked up at us ¨are you useing sign language Sub¨ he asked, I nod my head and smile ¨I can understand sign language¨ Eva said brightly. I smile and put my arm around her waist, she smiles ¨I love you Sub¨ she said in signs ¨I love you too¨ I reply.
