Chapter 9...Strange behaviour

Eva's P.O.V

I wake up the next morning in the living room, curled up on Sub's chest. Adam and Ty were fast asleep on the other sofa in a smilar position to me and Sub. I smile at my friends and carefully edge myself off of Sub and walk into the kitchen, my new parents were there drinking coffee. ¨good morning Eva, are the others still asleep?¨ father asks ¨yeah, we all stayed up quite late last night¨ I admit looking down at my hands, my parents chuckle ¨don't feel so bad Eva, its the weekend. You can stay up until you want to go to bed, except on school nights¨ father says ruffling my hair gently, I smile. Mother sits me down on a chair and passes me a plate of pancakes ¨thank you¨ I say picking up a fork, Ty walks into the kitchen rubbing his eyes. ¨good morning Ty¨ mother says putting another plate on the table for him ¨good morning, mother and father¨ Ty says sleepily ¨oh Ty there's no need for 'mother and father' just call us mum and dad if you want¨ 'dad' says taking a sip of his coffee. Me and Ty talk quietly while we eat, Adam and Sub come into the room and get directed to a seat. Our mum and dad leave the room to go and get dressed, before they left they told us to get ready too because we were going to meet the rest of the family. I wash my plate and walk up to my room, I go into the bathroom attached first and have a shower. I come out and look through my clothes, I had my cast taken off a while ago so I could wear a smart dress or skirt. I pick a white blouse with a dark green pleated skirt and smart black shoes, I dry my hair and brush it, making it form loose waves. I look in the mirror and smile, I looked pretty smart. I walk across to Sub's room, I open the door and see him stood at his mirror. He was trying to fix his hair but he couldn't get it right, he looked smart too. He was wearing a white shirt with long sleeves and a dark green tie, he wore black jeans and black hightops. ¨hey Sub, you look smart¨ I say, he turns around and sees me in the doorway ¨oh hi Eva, I didn't see you there, thanks¨ he signs before going back to combing his hair, I giggle and walk over to him. I take the comb from his hand and spin him around to face me, I fiddle with the comb and sort his hair for him ¨there all better¨ I say spinning him around to face the mirror. ¨thanks, you look very pretty today Eva¨ Sub signs with a smile on his face, I feel a faint blush creep up my cheeks ¨thanks Sub¨ I say smiling, he smiles again and holds his hand out for me to hold. I hold his hand and guide him to Ty's room, I open the door and laugh at the sight. Ty was standing on his tip toes helping Adam with his tie ¨oh hey guys¨ Adam says in a cheerful voice. They both looked smart too, Ty wore a pair of dark purple skinny jeans, white v-neck, black hightops and his headphones slung around his neck. Adam was wearing a pair of dark red jeans, white shirt, black tie and black trainers. Ty's hair was neatly covering his eye like always and Adam's curls had been neatly combed by Ty, ¨wow you guys look great¨ I say ¨you two look so cute next to each other¨ Ty squeals, we laugh until we heard our parents calling for us to come down. We all walk down the stairs together, me holding Sub's hand and Ty holding Adam's. Our mum and dad were stood in the living room ¨you guys look great together¨ they exclaim ¨let's get going before we get stuck in traffic¨ our dad says opening the door. We get in the car and dad starts to drive away from the house.

Sub's P.O.V

After a while of driving we pull up infront of a big house, it looked as big as our house (A/N:Which is huge btw XD) we get out of the car and our mum knocks on the door. After a second of knocking the door an oldish lady came to the door ¨Julie, Marcus. How nice to see you, come in come in¨ she says in a cheery voice. Our parents lead us inside into what seemed to be a living room, they sit on a sofa together and gesture for us to sit with them. The four of us sit on the sofa together, the lady sits next to a man on the sofa across from us. ¨so are these the children you were talking about¨ the lady asks ¨yes mum, this is Eva, Sub, Ty and Adam¨ mum says pointing to each of us as she said our names. The couple smile at us ¨such a pleasure to meet you all, my name is Lizzy and this is my husband Robert. We are your grandparents¨ the lady says ¨hello¨ Eva, Ty and Adam say ¨hello, nice to meet you¨ I sign, Lizzy smiles ¨nice to meet you too¨ she signs back. I blink before smiling 'our new grandma understands signs, that is so cool' I thought, our grandparents talk to us for a while before our parents tell us to go outside into the garden so they could have a grown up chat. We nod and walk out the door, we sit in the garden in the shade of some trees. ¨this is great, I have never had a family before¨ Ty said quietly, Ty has been in care since he was 2 years old because his mother and father hit him as a baby, so its nice that he now has a family. Me and Eva had abusive homes too and now we don't, Adam had a mother but he did lose her a couple of days ago but he seems to be doing better. ¨I can't believe that they know sign language¨ Eva says looking at me with a big smile on her face ¨I know, its so cool¨ Adam says holding Ty close to him. The four of us continued to talk until we hear our mum and dad calling us back to the house, we go inside and sit in our original places.
