Chapter 6...A new beginning

Eva's P.O.V

The next day I wake up in the white hospital room with Sub's warm hand ontop of mine. A bright light comes beaming through the open window, I poke Sub's cheeks gently ¨Subby wake up I am bored¨ I say while pokeing his cheeks. Sub lifted his head slowly, his dark hair hanged in his eyes so I brushed it away with my fingers ¨morning Eva¨ he signed while kissing my cheek ¨morning, you didn't have to stay here last night¨ I say. He raises his eyebrows ¨but you said that you didn't like hospitals, so I stayed to make you feel safe¨ he signed ¨I am glad you did stay and I felt very safe¨ I say sitting up. Me and Sub talked for a while but a knock came to the door, the same nurse from yesterday poked her head around the door ¨Hi Eva, you have some more visitors¨ she said opening the door wider. I smile, all my friends stood there, Roxy, Ty, Adam, Mitch, Jerome, Tyler, Jason, Emma, Ian and Rhiley all waved at me. ¨morning dood¨ Mitch and Jerome called, after everyone said hello they sat down on the chairs that the nurse had brought in for them. Ty's eyes were red and slightly puffy ¨Ty are you okay¨ I ask him ¨Ty was really worried so he stayed over mine but he cried most of the night¨ Adam whispered to me ¨come here Ty¨ I say offering him a hug. He quickly walked over to me and flung his arms around me, I felt some tears fall down my neck. I rubbed calming circles on Ty's back and after a minuet his sobs stopped and he sat back down next to Adam ¨I am going to be fine Ty, its okay¨ I say smiling. He nods before hiding his face in Adam's shoulder. I explained to everyone what happened and what was wrong with my ankle, we continued to talk for a while but the nurse came back saying that Sam had arrived to take me home. Everyone left the room apart from Roxy, she helped me into a pair of large jogging bottoms and Sub's hoodie, she also helpped me put one of my trainers on and tied the laces. I picked up the pair of crutches that had been left for me beside my bed, Ty, Adam, Sub and Tyler were waiting for me to come out. We slowly walked to reception, where Sam was waiting. We finally got there after one slip and three steps on the back of my friend's feet, Sam had signed my release papers. We walked out into the carpark, Sam had brought the mini van instead of her car so she could drive all of us back to the foster home.
Time skip because car jorneys are boring ;)

We walk into the foster home and we go straight up to the games room. We sit on the squashy bean bags and talk for a while, Mitch, Jerome, Ian and Jason start playing table football while the rest of us talked. I explain about what happened with Patsy and what she had said to me, they all agreed that she was beond awful and said to stay well clear from her and her friends. Sub picked up his guitar from his side and started to strum quiet melodys, often retuneing the strings of writing the notes down in a new notebook. The room was filled with our chatter, Sub's guitar and the other guy's cheering because they had beaten eachother in table football. We were all getting bored so we decided to go out to the park for a bit, I had to be really careful or I would damage my ankle more. As we walk to the park I stop suddenly ¨guys its Tuesday today¨ I say, they look at me ¨yeah we know¨ Ian says ¨but we have school¨ I say looking in the direction of our school ¨oh yeah, Sam called in last night saying that we would all be at the hospital with you and not in school¨ Ty explained carefully while holding Adam's hand tight. ¨oh okay then, thats good because I don't want to see Patsy's ugly face for a while¨ I say holding in a laugh but failing so bad, we were all giggling like mad people by the time we got to the park our cheeks were hurting from laughing so much. I noticed that people were stareing at me while we walked throught the gates of the park 'probably because of my eye' I thought, Sub didn't like how people were stareing at me so he kissed my cheek before carefully picking me up. Causing me to drop the crutches but Roxy picked them up and started trying to walk with them, Tyler chased after her laughing. ¨Sub you don't have to carry me¨I say petting his hair gently, he smiles and nods his head slowly, ¨this is why I love you¨ I say kissing his cheek ¨Roxy, run Tyler is catching up to you¨ I call to her. She looks over her shoulder and squeals as she is tackled by a over exited Tyler, they fall on the floor and start laughing madly. We all join the laughing until our sides hurt and our faces were red. We walk over to the playground equiptment, Sub sat me on one of the swings and started to push me gently. I giggle at his childish personality, I hear him chuckle softly. The others smile and continue to talk amongs themselves, Sub pushed the swing gently so he wouldn't hurt my ankle.
