Chapter 7...a new day a new pain

Sub's P.O.V
The next day I am aloud to leave the hospital, I will be going to the foster home to live with Eva and Ty. I am really exited but I don't want to be fosterd before Eva, I don't want to leave her. Adam and Ty come to the hospital early to give me some new clothes, they said that Eva was still asleep when they left. I get up carefully and put on the shirt, jeans and hoodie that they gave me. We walk into reception to meet Sam, like she had done for Eva she had signed my papers. We walk through the carpark and to the mini van, we drive to my old house to get my things. I go in the house with Adam and Ty, as I open my door I breathe in deeply. I heard Ty gasp as he entered the room, I am not suprised though. It did look scary in the little light, the blood stains on the carpet and the cracks on the walls. I run around with the cardboard box that Sam had given me, I put my few clothes inside, photographs, my laptop, sketchbook, my school stuff and finally I picked up my guitar. I smile at Ty and Adam, they smile back and we walk down the stairs. Before we leave I head into the garden and get my go-cart from the shed, Adam helps me carry it to the mini van and put it in the back along with my box. We get in and Sam drives us back to the foster home. When we arrive Adam puts my go-cart in the shed outside and Ty shows me where my room was. It was next to his and opposite Eva's. I open the door and I almost drop the box in my hands, it was so clean, no cracks on the walls and no stains on the carpet. I stood in the middle of the room and gazed around in amazment ¨what do you think¨ Ty asks watching me, I nod my head rapidly to show I was saying I liked it ¨well I will let you put your things away¨ he said before closeing the door. I put my things away where I think they should go, when I finish I sit on my bed with my guitar. I strum quietly and think about what is to come in my life, I don't know what happened to my father but I don't care what happens to him, I only care about my friends and Eva. As I think of Eva I smile and get up, I open my door and step towards her room. I wait before I knock on the door, Eva says something on the other side of the door but I don't quite hear it. I open the door slowly before peeking my head around, Eva was sat on her bed, looking at her sketchbook, flicking the pages slowly. I walk over to her and sit on her bed and place my hands on her shoulders ¨Ty, don't make me ju..¨ she started as she turned around but she stopped when she saw that it was me, ¨Sub?! what are you doing here, I thought we were picking you up later¨ she says flinging her arms around me. I grin to myself and hug her back ¨I missed you¨ she whispers in my ear, we pull away from our hug ¨well Ty and Adam thought that it would be a good idea to suprise you, they said that you were feeling a little down¨ I sign. ¨I was feeling down because I was worrying about you¨ she said quietly, ¨theres no need to worry about me¨ I sign smiling before pressing a gentle kiss on her forehead. A sudden knock to the door gave us both a fright ¨y-yes who is i-it¨ Eva stutters while shakeing, I wrap my arms around her in attempt to calm her down ¨Its me Ty¨ Ty's voice says ¨hey don't forget me¨ another familiar voice called ¨c-come in¨ Eva says. Ty opens the door and stepped in with Adam by his side ¨oh hey Sub, I thought you might be here¨ Ty said grinning ¨yeah, I couldn't wait to see Eva¨ I sign. Adam gives me a confused look ¨what did you say Sub, I don't understand signs¨ he said hanging his head slightly ¨he said, 'yeah, I couldn't wait to see Eva' I am going to have to teach you sign language Adam¨ Ty says with his hands on his hips, I look at Eva with a confused look and she returned one. ¨you can understand signs Ty?¨ Eva asks Ty, he nods his head and smiles ¨the school I went to when I was little thought I couldn't speak because I was so shy and they taught me sign language¨ Ty explains carefully ¨oh that makes sense. We are going to have to teach Adam how to sign or this is going to be difficult¨ I sign. Ty and Eva laugh slightly but Adam still looks confused ¨whats so funny¨ he asked looking back and forth between Ty and Eva ¨Sub was saying that we are going to have to teach you signs¨ Eva says ¨I still don't see why that is funny¨ Adam says pouting ¨aww come here¨ Ty says standing on his tiptoes and kissing Adam's cheek.
