8-Ale's missing

It's been a year since the others came back and everyone has pretty much mastered all the techniques and their magic, so we decided to throw a little party to celebrate our achievements since not many people can reach the goals we reached in the time that we reached them.

The party lasted several hours before we all got tired and just dropped like flies wherever we were being too tired to find our way to the bedroom part of the cave, when we woke up the next day we were all huddled up in the living room part of the cave using each others body heat to stay warm through the night.

Once everyone was up we started on our chores till Rian ran up to me looking distraught and panicked as he screamed

"ALE'S MISSING, HE'S NOT HERE!"

"How do you know that he's not taking a stroll?"

" BECAUSE HE NEVER MISSES CHORES OTHERWISE THEY WON'T GET DONE"

"Maybe he lost track of time"

"No, he's the responsible one between us two and I can feel he's in fear but I can't link him so he's too far away from here"

"Ok let's go find him"

After telling Kadian that he's in charge, Rian, Ash, and I set out to find where Ale disappeared to Rian and I flew while Ash ran on land so we don't miss any clues as to where Ale had gone. After a couple of hours of traveling, we took a break to rest and discuss what our next move was gonna be.

When I turned to ask Rian if he was thirsty he was gone so Ash and I searched the area that we were resting in and Rian was nowhere to be found which means he most likely felt his twin connection get stronger so he took off towards it because we didn't notice I don't even know which way he took.

All of a sudden I heard the secret call that we made in our animal forms so that we can always find each other when we did the call and from the look on Ash's face he heard it too so we shifted and headed in that direction. When we go there Rian was flying over this dungeon-looking place using our call and if we listened closely we could hear a responding call while a whole bunch of people who I believe are wolves from their smell tried to get him to go away.

When one of them grabbed a bow and arrow and prepared to shoot it I flew over and raored at them making everyone freeze and stare at me as Rian flew to me and rubbed his head on mine before going back to what he was doing as Ash made his entrance and rubbed against me to let me know that he was there.

Once he noticed what Rian was doing he started to head there when who I presume is the alpha showed up and stood between us and the dungeon causing Ash to growl at him then turn to look back at me asking what to do as the guy said

"I don't know why you are here, but can you call of the hawk so we can talk?"

I just growled and shook my head as I walked forward till I was next to Ash and had him stand behind me as I growled even more before making eye contact with Rian and nodding my head making him stop doing the call and flying high making everyone think I called him off before they thought twice when he dived down and disappeared for a few seconds before reappearing with Ale between his talons as he flew to me and gently laid him down on the ground.

After that, I looked at Ash and nodded and he got into a protective stance as Rian and I shifted to check on Ale who had shifted back when he was laid in front of me, Rian was a mess as he cried while holding Ale on his lap as I healed him just in case. Once he was healed he opened his eyes and smiled before yelling

"RIAN"

While hugging the living hell out of him before he turned to me and said

"Thanks, big bros"

While hugging me and then going to hug Ash who was still standing guard over us then Ale and Rian shifted and started to fly together playing tag and play fighting making sure Ale was good as new before coming back to me to get some pets along their feathers since apparently, it takes away the itchiness they are feeling sometimes.

Once the twins were ok I turned to the alpha who was shocked along with his pack and said

"Which one of you took my brother?"

When a smug guy around probably thirty years old walked up and arrogantly said

"It was me, so what he shouldn't have come onto our territory"

I turned to Ale and he shifted back and walked up to me before saying

" he snatched me when we had our party to celebrate our achievements during training, I had created a technique for twins since I and Rian are twins and I was out practicing to make sure I had it down before teaching it to Rian so that we can show you and the others, but when I was heading back to the cave he suck up behind me..."

"You didn't hear him or smell him"

"No, I did so we fought and I was winning since I mastered all the techniques including the one that combines every technique we know but he cheated and knocked me out when I woke up I was in that dungeon and he was calling me all types of names like a traitor to my race and an abomination I don't even know what that means...

I was so scared I thought I wouldn't get to see you guys and the others again but then I heard our secret call and I knew that Rian had found me and was calling for you so I called back so he knew that he was right and I was there so he can come and get me since he's still better with his magic than me and I was tranquilized to where I was drowsy but not sleepy"

Rian didn't like that at all as he flew over to the guy and started to peck him while making angry noises as the guy tried to run away from him, keyword tried Rian is a force to be reckoned with when angry it wasn't until Ale acted like he was hurt that Rian zoomed back and shifted to check on him before pouting once he realized he was tricked.

"I'm sorry if we disrespected you on your territory by punishing the asshat over there but I'm not sorry that my brother attacked him since he came onto our territory and took our family away from us goodbye"

Then we turned around and shifted preparing to leave when.
