Madison Laden (Destination Fear)

Part 3 (prank wars and waiting)

Madison's POV

I was currently sitting in a closet in my brother's apartment because I had inadvertently started a prank war to pass time, and I had just got Tanner and I didn't want to be on the recieving end of his wrath. "Where are you Madison? I'm going to find you! You can't hide forever!" I heard him yell from somewhere in the house. I had to refrain from laughing because if I did, he would definitley find me. "What'd she do this time?" I heard Alex ask from somehwere close to the closet I was hiding in. "She put a bucket of water above my door and when I came out of my room, it dumped all over me. Now I'm drenched." I heard Dakota laughing from in front of the closet and I had to cover my mouth because if I didn't then I surely would've laughed. "Don't worry man, surely we can get her back." that made me tense up because I like to prank people but the idea of ME being pranked back I didn't like. "Yeah, and I have the perfect idea!" I heard Tanner say in a high pitched witch-like voice. That was it. I was done for. I lost all composure and started laughing so hard that my stomach started to hurt. Then the door flew open to reveal all 3 guys looking at me with deadly serious looks on their faces as Dakota said, "Get her!"

Tanner immediately grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder while I laughed and tried to get away by pushing on him and even hitting his back a couple of times. "Let me go! Let me go!" I yelled while laughing as he threw me on the couch and the other 2 came over as well and started to come at me like they were going to tickle me. "NO NO NO NO NO! Don't tickle me!" I yelled and almost got away, but Tanner pulled me back down by my feet and turned me back on my back and they all 3 started to tickle me in all of my most ticklish spots. I mean of course they know all my ticklish spots, they were there for most of my childhood. But still they were using it against me. Not that I didn't deserve it, but I will get them back for this, eventually, "Why did you do it?" Tanner asked while ticling me. "I... was... bored." I said through fis of laughter. "Oh yeah? Say you're sorry and we'll stop." Alex said while trying to tickle my feet, but I was kicking so it was kind of hard. "I-I'm... sorrry. I'm sorry!" I yelled and they finally stopped. I layed on the couch for a couple minutes trying to catch my beath from laughing so hard. The boys had sat on the floor around the couch after they stopped tickling me. "You know I'm getting you back, right?" Tanner asked. "Yeah I do. I heard you guys talking, and let me say bring. it. on." I said while giving him a devilish grin. "Is that a challenge?" Dakota asked. "Maybe it is, maybe it isn't." I said while getting up and walking off to the kitchen to get a snack. I couldn't see them, but I knew their faces had to be priceless. They probably didn't think I would start a prank war in the first place, let alone say something as criptic as that. I smiled to myself as I sat at the counter and ate some oreos. They all walked into the kitchen not long after and sat in front of me. "You realise you just started a war, right?" Dakota asked. "Yes. Yes I do." I said as I put another oreo into my mouth. Dakota tried taking an oreo but I swatted his hand away resulting in an, "Ow, I just wanted an oreo." and a sad face from him. I passed the package over the counter with a grin on my face. That made him reluctant to grab one, but he did. "You didn't do anything to it did you?" he asked. "Nope." I said popping the 'p' at the end while the other 2 just watched us with amused looks on their faces. "You two are fun to watch together." Tanner said while laughing at our antics. "Yeah, you guys are probably the closest siblings can get." Alex finishes. We both turn to them and smile and at the same time we said, "Thank you." we all looked at each other and laughed.

Later that night
Dakota's POV

After Madison's little prank on Tanner, I knew he would get her back, but worse. It was just a matter of time until this little war spread to Alex and I too. After watching tv for a little bit, Alex got up to make dinner. About an hour or so later Alex came out of the kitchen and said, "Dinner's done." "Okay." I said and we got up from our spots on the couch and went to the kitchen to eat. He made spaghetti and meatballs. We ate and once we were done we decided to play board games for a while. We were in the middle of Monopoly and Madi was winning and Tanner was mad about it. "OH COME ON! How do you own all the high price properties?" He yelled and Alex and I laughed at him. Madi looked him dead in the eye with a serious look on her face and said, "Because I do. Now quit complaining and pay up." As Tanner handed her his money for the rent on her property he looked at me and said, "Your sister is mean." Alex laughed and I said "Oh trust me I know." that earned me a slap on the head from Madi.
