I wake up to Tanner, Alex, Dakota, and Chelsea standing over me. "Happy birthday!" They shout when they see my eyes open. "It's too early for this." I mumble, stuffing my face back in my pillow.

They all laugh before telling me to get up and get dressed because they have a surprise for me. I grudgingly get up and get dressed, making my way out to the front of the rv with everyone else.

I sit down beside Dakota, looking at all of them smiling at me. "What the hell are you guys up to?" I ask. "Nothing." Tanner replies, smiling wider. "Yeah, because I believe that." I say.

I fall back asleep after a little while, only to be awoken an hour later by Dakota. "Hey Madi, get up. We have a surprise for you." "What?" I ask, sitting up.

Dakota leads me outside the rv, the other 3 standing in a huddle beside the door. "Why are you guys being weirder than usual today?" I ask, thoroughly confused. They all spread out, and when they do, I see all my friends and my mom and dad standing there. "What are you guys doing here?" I ask, shocked. "You didn't think we'd let you celebrate your birthday with just these weirdos, did you?" Jackson asked.

I go give them all hugs. Dakota walks back into the rv and comes out a minute later with a cake in his hands. "When did you get that?" I ask him, perplexed. "When we went to Walmart last night and you stayed behind." he answered.

We partied for a while, everyone mingling. The grown people went to talk by the rv while me and my friends sat on a bench on the park we were in. "So, how has this trip been?" Ellie asks. "It's been interesting to say the least." I respond. "Are you getting any sleep?" Jackson asked. "Well I'm not getting any sleep at the locations, I never do. But, I'm getting a little more than I usually would on the rv for now." I say.

"Good." Hunter says, putting his arm around my shoulder and kissing my forehead. "AWWWWW!" I hear Dakota, Tanner, and Alex say from behind us. "Fuck off, guys." I say, laughing. Dakota gasps, "That was mean. I'm telling mom!"

They walk off again and I look back at my friends and we all laugh. "They are something else. I don't know how you deal with them all the time." Ava laughs. "Yeah, I honestly don't either," I laugh too. "But they're my best friends besides you guys."

*DAKOTA'S POV*

I'm talking with the guys and my parents when I decide to go see what the kids are doing, Alex and Tanner following me. As we walk, we can see them all talking and laughing before Hunter puts his arm around Madison's shoulder, kissing her forehead. I guess great minds think alike because at the same time, Tanner, Alex and I said, "AWWWWW!"

"Fuck off, guys." she says, laughing at us. I gasp. "That was mean. I'm telling mom!" I say, walking back to our parents and Chelsea. We can hear them laughing as we walk away.

We reach them and jump in on their conversation. "Mom, Madi told us to fuck off." I pout. "Oh, you leave here alone. She's hanging out with her friends. You see her more often than they do at this point." she tells us.

"Yeah, you're probably right." I sigh. "Yeah. She's growing up so fast, I can't believe it. I remember the day you guys brought her home." Tanner says. "She has grown quite a lot, hasn't she?" dad says.

We continue with the little get together for a while before it gets pretty late.

*MADISON'S POV*

We hung out for a while until it got pretty late and my mom and dad and friends had to catch a plane back to Minnesota. "Thank you guys for coming all the way out here. I love you guys." I hug everyone.

They all say their goodbyes, walking back to the car mom and dad rented, leaving Hunter and I alone for a minute. "Seriously, thank you for coming out here. This was the best birthday ever." I tell him. I hug him, putting my hands around his neck, his going around my waist.

"I'd do anything for you and you know that, but you're welcome. I love you." he says. "I love you too." I say smiling, standing on my tiptoes to kiss him.

"Hunter, dude, come on we gotta go!" Jackson yells, leaning out the window of the car. We break away from our kiss laughing.

"I'll talk to you later, okay? I love you." he says as he walks away. "I love you too." I call out as he gets in the car.

This was definitely the best birthday.
