Third person's POV:

"Don." Aurelio stepped inside the office.

The Cassano's had an office in a remote location where they dealt with their torturing and illegal business. They only came here three times a week since they preferred their home office.

But today they had a meeting with one of the Capo's, Alexander Ferrari.

Though he was only twenty years old, he took his father's position two years ago. He was stern, brutal, and effective. He was clearly born for this.

Hector nodded for his soldier to speak. They'd been busy discussing tactics and plans to bring down the Russians.

"Katarina Petrova is here to speak to you." He announced.

The daughter of Dimitri Petrov, the man they were planning to kill.

"Let her in." Hector spoke.

Silas threw him a look. Why would she walk into enemy territory? It was weird. But Katarina has an obsession with Hector. She always came to the clubs he was at or did shit like this, show up at his workspace.

Katarina walked inside of the office dressed in a skintight blue dress that showed off her slim body. Her long blond hair hung over her shoulders and by the way that she smiled, Hector knew that it was not going to be worth his time.

"I was told that I could speak to you." She put on the sultry voice that did not affect Hector.

"You can. Speak and don't waste our time." Silas rolled his eyes.

"I thought privately."

Hector gave her a deadpanned look. A few years ago, he'd been so drunk that he hooked up with her. That led him to never get drunk again because he makes the worst mistakes then.

"Speak." He ordered her while sipping his cappuccino.

He had more important things to do. As long as his little sister wasn't safe, he would not stop working.

"I've come with a compromise to stop all this tension between our families." She announced.

It was hard to read Hector so that stressed her out but she continued talking.

"If you decide to marry me, my brother will stop harassing your sister. Does that sound fair?"

If Hector didn't know Katarina, he would've immediately agreed. Because it did sound fair but that wasn't the truth. He placed down his cup of cappuccino and gave her a bored look.

"You've come up with that yourself. Agreeing with you gives me no assurance that your brother will leave me sister alone." He stated.

"I can convince my brother." She shrugged.

No, she couldn't. Ronan was a lost cause. He'd even go up against their father to get Elena.

"Your brother is a psychopath. He's obsessed with my little sister. The only thing that will stop this tension between our families, is the death of your brother and father."

Her mouth fell open. Shock crossed through her icy blue eyes. She had expected him to agree. She thought he'd do anything for his little sister.

"You're on my territory now. I give you five minutes to leave before you regret it." He warned her.

She stormed out of the room while the men shared an eye roll. Theo's phone rang and he picked it up. His face fell immediately.

"She did what?!" He demanded.
