{Jamella's pov}
Damein had came in drunk lastnight again, after telling me the money I had put down to pay the monthly rent and other bills were used to take care of other stuffs. I called my bestfriend Peta-gaye and poured out my heart to her, she listened and offered me comfort by telling me to just take it easy.
"Jamella honey, the electricity has been cut off, go and pay the bills from your savings account before the water gets cut off also." Said Damien two days later.
I looked up from the couch at him, I will have to leave him. He has caused me nothing but lonely nights and empty pockets. The money he had taken and use to do God knows what, was the last of my savings.
Breathing out a heavy sigh I said. "This relationship is over between us, you can leave!"
He walked close to the couch where I was and shouted, "no bitch, you're the one who needs to leave Peta-gaye is pregnant with my child and her parents are kicking her out."
"Peta-gaye?" I asked wondering if I had heard him right, there was only one Peta-gaye I know of.
"Yes Peta-gaye!" He snapped and went out slamming the door.
Why wasn't I surprised and crying I asked myself. I took up my phone and called Peta-gaye, she calmly admits that she was four months pregnant for Damien and offered her apologies. I told her I wish a back stabbing bitch like her a world of hurt and hung up. They both knew I had nowhere to go to, my parents are still upset with me for moving out and living with Damien, my father has sworn me off.
My eyes hurt with unshed tears, I got up and called a pawn shop. If the rent wasn't paid me and my things would be out on the street and Damien was the one who got this apartment while I bought most of the things with the money my father had flung in my face. I packed only a suitcase I could lug around and my large handbag, when the pawn shop truck came I spent nearly an hour bargaining with them.
When I had sold down to the rug on the floor, I took my suitcase and bag along with a small box which contained my two pillows and a blanket. Leaving the door closed without locking it, I got into my pickup truck and drove off.
