Welcome to Ticket To Love! Today's Question is...

Question 3) Would you rather go on vacation to a beach house on the beach, a cabin in the snowy woods, or a lakefront house? Why?

Answer: Definitely a cabin in the snowy woods. I would love to light the fireplace, drink some hot cocoa while wearing the fuzziest socks and sweatshirt and read a book by the window, where I could watch the snow fall.

Sadie and I were video chatting earlier about what we should wear for the party tonight. I honestly never imagined that I would even be invited to one, let alone one thrown by Jack, so I'm not sure if the clothes in my closet are party material. I like to think of my style as a revamp of 90's fads. So I had a lot of jeans and t shirts, but that doesn't really scream "party" to me. Sadie had me try on about 100 different outfits, until we finally landed on something decent. Something that I normally wouldn't wear, but I'm thankful I had lying in my closet. It was a black dress with a sheer mesh material over top, then I threw on a leather jacket overtop. Sadie yelled at me to wear some strappy heels, but I was already out of my comfort zone showing off my legs, that I opted for my chunky, worn out Dr. Marten boots.

As I descended down the stairs, I could hear whistles coming from the kitchen, "Wowza! Who knew you actually had legs under there!" My mom joked, as she threw a casserole in the oven.

"Maybe pants would look better," My dad looked a wee bit concerned.

"Oh stop, Greg. You look fabulous Logan."

"Never thought the day would come where I actually had to give you a stern set of rules for a party," My dad laughed, then went into serious father mode, "If you happen to drink, which I advise you strongly not to do, call us to pick you up. Watch your drinks at all time, even if it is just a water. Be home at a reasonable hour and text us when you get there and when you are leaving," He looked at me dead in the eyes, "How was that?"

"Perfect," I said, giving him a hug, "I gotta go. Love you guys!"

"Make good choices!"

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" My dad yelled.

"So I guess I'm doing everything then?" I laughed, as I walked out the front door. I heard my dad yell no while my mom laughed.

I had to set the mood just right to get me prepared for the night and the only song I could think of was "Where The Party At" by Jagged Edge. The sun was setting as it was already almost 7, which is my favorite time to drive. The sun always lit the sky just right before disappearing for the night, and I would always blast my music to help me feel happy. So right now, I was pretty content and my anxiety was slipping away with every beat of the song.

Jack's house was only a 7 minute drive from my house, which was great since we needed to get going on decorating. The party started at 8, which only gave us an hour to decorate. Jack honestly needs to plan better for parties. Who starts to decorate an hour before a party is supposed to begin? I spent literally 2 days preparing for Sadie's birthday party last month.

My GPS notified that my destination was on my left, and when I started to pull into the driveway, my jaw almost hit the floor. This house was huge and honestly the prettiest house I had ever seen. It looked like your fancy mansion that you only see in the movies. I kept trying to hum the lyrics to the song playing to keep my nerves down, but as I got closer to the entrance of the house, I could feel a tad bit of anxiety creeping its way back to me. The more I looked at Jack's house, the more intimidated I felt. Not sure why a house was making me feel this way, but I had to take a deep breath before opening my car door. The closer I walked to the house, the bigger it got and made me feel really small.
