My Perfect Start!

Chapter 9

I reached her place around 3:50 and I planted one kiss on her cheek and thanked her for giving such a surprise on their anniversary. Things turned worst, but they got saved from being doomed. She was still gazing at my worried face, she hugged me, I hugged her back tight and we rested in the embrace for a minute. She looked up at me and said,

'I am with you don't worry. Love you.'

'Love you too honey. I will also be with you... always.' I said and kissed her forehead.

'Bye'

'Bye...' I said with a smile.

I drove my way back home and reached the house around 4:15.

I opened the door with keys and switched on the AC, as my shirt was drenched in sweat at back. I drank some water from the bottle and pressed my back on the sofa, as Didi and Mom were asleep in their bedrooms. I could not forget this night ever in my life. I still doubted in my mind that, the cop clicked a picture of my driving license and car's number plate, so what if he cuts the challan after a few days? I tried to sleep.

The next day I woke up at 11 in the morning. My dad was having his breakfast with mom. I folded the blanket and went to the bathroom. While having breakfast my dad started to speak.

'Good Morning.' He said and sipped the tea.

'Good Morning Dad.'

'So from when are your exams starting?' he asked, his eyes were pasted on me.

I glanced at mom, she nodded a little bit in disagreement.

'From 5th November.' I replied.

'So have you started studying?'

He looked like a hungry wolf, and he was eager to hear my reply.

'Yes Dad, I have completed 2 subjects.' I said with a sigh.

'Shabbas!' he said with a wide grin, he would have pounced on me if I would have said something different.

I realized that I lied to my mom, and my exams were coming closer. I decided to study hard, as I also lied to dad about completing two subjects. I sat to study, I received one snap from my Honey which distracted me. I opened it and saw a cute snap of her. I made her a call.

'Hey'

'Hii, Wassup?'

'I am studying Honey.'

'Oh... so Abhi tu actual main padh raha hai, Haha!'

'Haa, what to do. My exams are starting from November 5.' I said with a disapproving tone.

'Oh wait, okay.'

'Yep, I need to study. I think we should meet just twice a week from now.' I said.

'Hey Parth yaar I am ok but Teri hi pehle vaat lagegi and then meri.' she said with a chuckle.

'We are just a phone call away, if we think we should meet then we will meet. To be very honest, I am so distracted Honey, please understand.' I said with pauses.

'Ha Baby, I can understand. Study well, and we will meet on Mondays and Thursdays.' she said.

'Ya done.' I said

I tried studying, I would use to get up early in the morning and study from 9 to 12 PM. and then a little bit in the evening for one hour. It was very difficult for me, she would use to send me snaps, I also did the same to maintain streaks and my relationship with her. We would use to speak on video calls for hours, I was bored watching her in these rectangles, but the good thing was that we were meeting for one hour on Mondays and Thursdays. Sometimes I would use to speak with her on text till 2 in the night, which would use to ruin my study schedule, but I realized somewhere corner in my heart that we needed each other badly. And yes on the night of November 4th, I was busy speaking with her on text.
