The next day my eyes automatically opened around 6:45 in the morning. The AC was still on and I was still curled in my bed. I woke up with a sudden thought of her and switched off the AC. I took small steps towards the window and saw that the rain was still dripping down, but they were little drizzles. I made myself a strong coffee and sipped it while listening to 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran. I quickly took the bath, wore my joggers and hoodie, took the car keys, and left the house around 7:30. I texted her a Good morning and removed the car from my building. Soon I was cruising through the highway, and 'Count on me' by Bruno Mars was playing mildly in the background. I reached her place around 7:50 and took her.

'Hey,' I said.

'Hello'

'So where to go?' I asked and looked at her.

'There's one garden here Apple Garden. It is special there.' she said with a giggle.

'Acha, but special kaise?'

'Arey, tu chal toh sahi, I'll guide you.' she said and patted my cheek. I smiled.

Within two minutes we were on the highway. She took my phone and played some Doja cat songs.

'Listen, can you please stop here at the corner.' she said and asked me to lower the speed of the car and stop at the corner of the highway. A strange thought ran through my mind. I stopped the car and looked at her.

'What happened?' I asked.

'Parth listen, in such a short period you came like Sunshine into my life. You motivated me, made me laugh and the most important thing is that you are modest and I like that. So many thoughts were running down through my brain and my heart in the past few days.' she said taking pauses in between and her eyes were pasted on me.

'Umm... what kind of thoughts Sneha?' I replied, but she quickly held my chin and pressed her lips against mine. My heart started to pound hard. Soon she was gently sucking my lower lips with hers. She didn't give me a chance to respond. I could smell her perfume. She stopped and looked at me.

'I think we should give it a try...' she said.

This made my jaw drop, 'What?!'

'Listen, first let's go to the garden.' She giggled.

My breathing was unstable, she rubbed my back and smiled at me. I quickly drove the car to the garden. We started to walk over the path in the garden, as it was around 8:15 there were very few people. There were mild drizzles, and we were only walking without saying a word. She gently moved her hand towards me and locked it. All these events were like a dream to me. She stopped and so did I and we gazed at each other. I was reading her eyes and so was she reading mine.

'Please speak something Sneha.' I said finally breaking the Ice.

'All I could say is that we vibe together Parth. I never thought that God has kept a gem like you for me... I love you.' she replied. Within a second, the rain started to hover down on us at a slow pace. I was dumbstruck, I didn't have any words to speak, I knew that it was a dream and now I am going to fall from the bed any moment.

'Ahhh!' I screamed when I sensed the pinch on my hand, and I saw her she was smiling in glee.

'Are you not going to reply? Aise hi baarish main sardi ho jayegi.'

'From the day we met and we started to talk, I was only thinking about you the whole day. I would use to quickly pick the phone when the snap notification would use to pop up. So you also came into my life like Sunshine. I promise you that I'll take care of you well... I love you too honey.' I said taking deep breaths. She smiled, we were drenched in the rain. Without waiting for a moment we hugged tightly like magnets. She looked at me, and I came a little bit close at distance from where I could brush my lips against hers. I waited, she took the initiative and kissed! We were lost, we were smooching in the rain. I was gently responding to her lips as my hand went back at her waist and held her tight. We stopped and went to one of the cottages in the garden. We sat there busy talking about the things which we never discussed on the text.

'Hey, Yesterday you were saying that, mere Ghar valo ki kaha padi hai meri. Why did you say that?' she said.

'Yes, My dad always blurts on me on tiny things, like household work, his office work, about my future etc. pehle pehle mann karta tha ki ghar chhod ke hi kaha chala jau.' I said.

'Babe, I am here now. Don't worry.'

'Honey... we will have fights, you will get hurt. I don't want that.' I said with a dejected voice.

'We will sort it out Parth. Don't overthink much. I am strong enough, and I know very well that you will never make me cry.' she said.

'Oh Damn.' I said and curled her again in my embrace. I was feeling very secure with her.

After a well one hour in the garden, we left the place. I spotted one outlet of Belgium Waffle and took her there. I opened the door for her and I ordered one Milk Belgium chocolate waffle for her and a Strawberry cream cheese waffle for myself.

'So is this s date...?' I said and smiled.

'Yes, this is a date.' she replied and planted a kiss on my cheek. I was gazing at her as she was eating the waffle. She looked at me;

'Take a bite'

'Why not, sharing se Pyaar badhta hai.' I said and took a bite from her waffle.

'You are such a cutie!' she said and pulled my cheeks.

'Bas bas yaar abhi.' I said.

'Naah, I am not going to leave you today.' she said and grabbed my hand.

'Ahh Honey.' I replied with a long peck on her cheeks. We left the outlet and walked a little bit in the garden which was nearby. Our shoulders were brushing, and our hands were still locked. We removed our shoes and walked on the grass, the dews were cool and they were tickling our legs.

'Hey, can you feel the oxytocin rushing down?' I said and looked at her.

'Ya, it is at a great pace.' she said and chuckled.

'Yeah... Once again, I love you My Sunshine...' I said and pulled her cheeks.

'I love you too Momo!' she replied and laughed.

'What?! Momo?' I said with a tone of excitement.

'Yeah, I kept your name.'

'Ok, My Honey has kept a cheesy name for me.' I replied and she laughed.

We left the garden. I dropped her at her house and drifted my way back to my house.

I don't believe in God, I believe in my destiny. I knew that one day I'll find my better half and that will be the memorable day of my life. I found the best girl for myself. As I reached home my mum examined me from head to toe as I was drenched.

'Were you dancing in rain?' she said sternly.

'Naah maa, I went to play football with friends, aur baarish main hi football ka Mazza hai.' I said with a chuckle.

'Go and quickly take a bath, or else you will get cold.' she replied and pushed me to the bathroom.

I took the bath for a good 15 minutes and got in my vest and boxers. I was busy rubbing my hair with a towel when a sweet aroma of sheera made its way to my nose and mom's voice to my ears.

'Parth, come and sit for breakfast!'

'Coming' I replied and walked outside to the hall and took my phone. I saw that there was a text from her 6 minutes ago. I opened the snap and sat on the chair.

'Did you reach?'

'Yeah, kabka.' I texted and looked at my dad who was gazing at me.

'Good Morning dad.' I said and rested my phone on the table.

'Good Morning, so you took the car today?' he asked without expression on his face.

'Ha, thodi bheeg gayi thi. So saaf bhi karva di maine.' I said and looked at my mom as she came with three plates of sheera.

I ate the breakfast with a happy face, as my mood automatically drifted because the sooji was baked in ghee, some badams, kish mish, and kajus were finely chopped in it, and the most important ingredient, the banana.
