Sang Tian was giggling merrily with Xiao Rou, sipping a cup of milk tea, in her cafe when a familiar face approached them. They looked up to see Shen Wei Lian's smiling face, his eyes fixed on Xiao Rou. He hadn't noticed Sang Tian's presence in the cafe, as she was blocked by the stickers stuck throughout the glass wall.
"Hey Xiao Rou! Why did you switch your phone off? I was so worried that I came here to look for you."
There was an obvious flavour of worry in his tone.
"What were you....."
Shen Wei Lian abruptly stopped as he sensed the presence of another person in the cafe. Sang Tian's gaze turned from Wei Lian to Xiao Rou and back to him before she smiled.
"Hi Wei Lian! Nice to meet you. It has been sometime." Though she tried her best to hide the approaching laughter as she sensed something between two of her best friends, she failed. Xiao Rou, on the other hand, blushed furiously.
"Uh...um...Sang Tian, hi. Err...I...I..." Wei Lian stuttered.
Sang Tian laughed. "It's okay Wei Lian, I understand. I will show myself out."
She got up and hugged Xiao Rou.
"Xiao Rou, I am so happy for you."
Both Wei Lian and Xiao Rou blushed.
"It's so good to see all those who are in love together and happy." Sang Tian smiled to herself as she made her way to Liuye, reminiscing the time she nearly lost her love.
Beep
She took her phone out of her pocket. It was a message from Wen Bing.
"Sang Tian, where are you? I need to meet you now."
"Why does he sound so serious?" Sang Tian wondered. "Never mind, he is always like that. Making a small matter appear as if his life depends on it."
She texted: "I am in Liuye now. Where should I meet you?"
Wen Bing instantly replied, "Wait for me in front of the girls' dormitory, I am coming over."
Sang Tian scurried in front of the girls' dormitory, her new place to live since she left the men's ice hockey team and joined the newly established female ice hockey team. Standing in front of the entrance, she thought about the first time she met Wen Bing. They were always quarrelling. She smiled as she remembered how silly she was to believe in grandmother's words and try to change her luck by kissing Wen Bing. She.....
Sang Tian's eyes widened as she remembered something.
"Grandma! I haven't seen her for a while. How is she?" Her hands automatically shot to her head as she realised she had completely forgotten to contact her. In anyway, she was the main patron behind Sang Tian and Wen Bing's relationship. How could she forget her? She cursed herself mentally for her foolishness.
On the other hand, a black BMW lingered around the girls' dormitory, the driver's sharp eyes moving swiftly across people to look for the one he is concerned with. In a few seconds, his gaze stopped at a cute lady standing in front of the entrance, apparently lost in thought. He drove right in front of her and opened the glass window.
"Hello Miss Sang. Quickly get into the car before getting lost in your own world."
She got in next to the driver seat, fastened her seatbelt and turned towards him.
"Why are you back to your oppressive CEO self? Ordering me to do this and that again. What do you want now? I am going to kill you if it again happens to be some trivial matter. You should......"
