"Now you two can do whatever you want." Min Li had smiled at the blushing couple.

"Auntie, don't say like that." Sang Tian had said, eyes downcast with embarrassment.

Min Li faked an irritation.

"What had I told you earlier Sang Tian? You can see me as your family. Ok, now I am your family. Do you still see me as an outsider?"

Sang Tian smiled lightly.

"I am sorry, Mom."

"That sounds good now."

The engaged couple blushed and smiled at each other.

Sang Tian smiled to herself remembering her day as she sat beside Wen Bing in his car. It was so...perfect. She got a family and a home. She got everything she needed to make her happy.

"Why are you so quiet?"

Wen Bing's question made her jump and return to the world. She remained quiet for another moment and sighed.

"I was thinking about my mother. She would have been so happy today if she was present."

Wen Bing looked at her.

"Are you missing her?"

Sang Tian smiled lightly. "I always miss her. But, today I am not sad as I remember her. I just felt that it would have been perfect if my mother was also present to see the most important day of my life."

A drop of tear fell from her eye. Wen Bing stopped the car.

"Why did you....." Before she could even finish, Wen Bing touched his lips with hers and gave a gentle kiss. After a few seconds, they parted and he held her hand instead.

"Sang Tian, listen to me. No matter what happens, I will always be there by your side. Even if I have to go against the world, I would. I know I can't make up for your mother, nobody can. But I just want to see you happy. And I will try my best to keep you happy."

Sang Tian gave a tearful smile.

"You always succeed in making me happy, Wen Bing. I know, nothing is perfect in this world. Even though I miss my mother, I still have a mother right? I have got a new, loving family. I am grateful for that. I am grateful to you." Wen Bing smiled as he brought his face closer again to kiss her. Sang Tian quickly covered her lips.

"We are in a car. What if others see us?"

Wen Bing sighed. He looked outside. It was a chilly night so there were few people. He raised a brow at her and resumed driving. After a few moments, he stopped the car again and turned to face Sang Tian.

"What now?"

"Do you have anything important to do now?"

Sang Tian took a second to think before answering.

"No."

He resumed driving and took a U-turn.

"Where are you going?"

"To my house."

"WHAT!" Sang Tian gaped at him. Wen Bing's lips curved into a mischievous smile.

She swallowed the lump in her throat.

"What...what...why are you taking me there?" She was suddenly very nervous.

"To sleep for the night", he said nonchalantly.
