Ru & Alexis' Loft
Soon as they got home from Variety, both Ru and Alexis decided on comfortable attire. Finally able to sit down free from obligations they melted into their plush couch.
"Ugh it smells like men." Ru ran her fingers threw her hair and laid her arms to her side.
"Does it?" Alexis was oblivious.
"Yes. Men and blood." Ru knew one thing. Jungkook and Jimin were footing the bill for a new couch. Period.
"Delicious." Alexis sucked her teeth.
"I talked to my uncle Benny. He said I could stay with him until they figure out where my mom is. He said he'd come here and pick me up in the morning." Joon-seo gave Alexis her phone. He always wanted one like hers. Her phone was dark blue and she could do the FaceTime thing on it everyone else could. Honestly he just wanted a phone so he could call his mom when she was late, or gone too long.
Joon-seo crawled in between the two of them sitting on the couch. Resting his head on Alexis' lap and his feet on Ru's legs.
Ru knew they couldn't take care of him especially with the way things were going. The likelihood was that they would end up in Korea for longer than a month. Hopefully they could come back and check on Joon-seo.
Alexis' mention of Edgar's picture on Eun-ae's phone also felt off. What were the chances Joon-seo's mother didn't just disappear? "Has she ever been gone this long?"
"Yeah but she's left notes before, or come back and restocked the fridge so I could eat. When she sent me to the store and I came back to a locked door I knew something was wrong." He fidgeted with his fingers barely making eye contact with Ru almost embarrassed to talk about his circumstances.
"Aww baby and you haven't been to school have you?" Ru grabbed his little hand to reassure him everything was going to be fine.
