Death came to see me,

Not in black or in grey

He wore a blue sock and a yellow hat made of hay,

Death came to see me,

He told me to get ready,

For when he come he wouldn't wait,

He won't come to drink coffee or eat biscuits with me,

He's here to take me up high into the clouds you see,

Death came to see me,

Not in black or in grey,

He wore a blue sock and a yellow hat made of hay

He road on a pink donkey looking like a dolphin

And carried the cold wind that would send me off to bed

He's a lion with a mixture of wolf features,

But that's not important,

What's important is,

Death came to see me in socks,

And not in black.
