Katie was in her room packing her suitcase when her mother walked into the room surprised at the sight she had found.
"What are you doing?" Claire wondered.
"Packing." Katie replied with a laugh as she continued to place summer clothes in her suitcase for Saudi Arabia.
"I can see that. Why? Where are you going?" The older woman asked as she stood next to Katie's bed where her suitcase sat.
"Jeddah." Katie replied as she placed a pair of sandals into her bag.
"Jeddah huh? Why?" Claire spoke as she lifted Katie's shoes before placing them back into the suitcase.
"Mum." The brown haired girl said as she stopped packing for a moment.
"What?" Claire replied.
"I know what you are getting at." Katie told her as she started packing again.
"Can you blame me?"
"You have to get over this." The younger Williams explained as she walked into her adjoining bathroom to grab toiletries.
"Well then tell me why you're going to Jeddah?" Claire asked as she followed Katie and stood in the doorway of the bathroom as Katie packed a white toiletries bag.
Katie sighed after zipping the bag closed once she had everything inside it.
"Because Lewis invited me." Katie replied before taking the bag and walking back into her bedroom to put the small bag into her suitcase.
"Katie." Claire said as she followed after her daughter.
"What mum? What?" Katie wondered as she closed the suitcase in anger before turning to face her mother.
This conversation had been on an off since the last day of her grandfather's wake which was a week ago today.
"You're going to Saudi Arabia with Lewis?" Claire asked as she crossed her arms.
"No mum. I'm going on my own because he invited me." Katie explained using her hands for exaggeration.
"Same thing." Claire told her only daughter.
"Not really." Katie shook her head in reply.
"Hey. What are you two arguing about?" Katie's dad, Marc, asked walking into the room.
"Your daughter is going to Saudi Arabia." Claire spoke first.
"Okay?" Marc replied wondering what the issue was.
"With Lewis." Claire finished.
"Oh." Marc nodded finally understanding. He had been listening to his wife all week talk about Lewis and what she thought was happening between the Mercedes driver and their daughter.
"Dad, do you have a problem with it?" Katie asked looking up at her dad.
"Well no but-."
