Scott chuckled as he watched Rel's display of aerial. He turned to Clive, whose mouth was open in shock.
   "What's wrong?" Scott smiled,
"We found your horses running wild on the plateau. I thought you were gone!" Clive said, his eyes watering.
"Aw you care!" Scott said teasingly, "I would never leave my kingdom, not even if it meant I could never see you again" (😈) Scott pulled Clive into a hug. As he was hugging Clive he looked up at the crowd of people. One elf in particular caught his eye. His face looked eerily similar to Scott's dead brother, in fact he looked almost identical. But his brother had teal eyes, this man had red eyes. Wait, the story... what if this was Ronoth? Just, as a champion of Exor? This was all very confusing.
"We have had a few developments" Clive said, gesturing to the Crystal Tower. Scott looked at the tower, below it was the entrance to the Nether Portal. A circle of purple light matter that, when you stepped threw, transported you to the Nether region. At the entrance to the cave was corruption, and a lot of it. It seemed to be writhing and moving as if it were alive. It also seemed to be inching closer and closer to the crystal.
"Oh, I'd better ask Aeor for help" Scott said,
"What?" Clive said crossing his arms, "You can't just ask Aeor for help! That is not how death works!"
"Who said they aren't alive?" Clive closed his mouth and spun on his heel to address the crowds. Scott decided to mess with Clive a little bit more. He loudly hooted into the sky multiple times with words that he knew Rel knew. Rel, do some fancy thing to land on the stage. I want to mess with C.
"What are you doing Scott?" Clive turned back around from addressing the search parties. Suddenly a gasp rippled around the crowd as a streak of cloud like matter ran through the sky. With a whoosh, Rel landed.
They had one hand directly below themselves with one foot stretched out to the side and the other bent. They had picked up their suit jacket and tie, and had fished themself up. They looked amazing. Their wings were flared out behind them, l menacingly and they had a smirk on their face.
"Hey! That's the bird that dropped off His Majesty before!" The ten year old girl from before, pointed out. Clive growled.
"Hello Rel"
"Why hello," Rel said, nodding to him. "Your majesty," Rel bowed low to the ground after straightening up. "How can I be of service?"
"I need to get to the Church as quickly as possible," Scott winked. Rel smiled,
"Of course your majesty." They hooked their arms under Scott's arms and flapped their large wings, taking off into the air and flying him to the church, up through the clouds.

Rel and Scott landed in front of the large church, Rel staring up at the stain glass window. Scott squeezed their hand, pulling them into the church along with him and walking up to the altar.
"Hey Aeor" Scott said, letting go of Rel's hand and kneeling. Rel followed suit. "It has been a while, I have a suspicion that my brother has turned into some sort of monster." He felt Rel look up at him. He hadn't told Rel about the brother thing yet. "The farms are dying, we need food if our empire is to survive. If you have any idea where Rel's wings came from, please tell me. Help please." He bowed his head, silently finishing the prayer in his head.
Scott slowly opened his eyes and looked around. Rel was sitting next to him still, however there was now a lectern sitting in the altar with an old, dusty book sitting on it. Rel opened their eyes.
"What is that?"
"I don't know" Scott replied, walking over to the book and carefully opening it's frail pages. On the paper was written a message, addressed to him. As he ran his hands over the ink, his horns started to tingle.

Dear Scott, King of Rivendell,
It is nice to finally communicate with you after all of these years inside of your head. My brother Exor has chosen his champion. Your brother somehow fell into the Undergrove and caught Exors attention. I am afraid to say that he had indeed become possessed by Exors consciousness, and I have reason to believe that your brother is no longer in control of his body. As for the farms, behind the palace you will find your answer.
Rel is a kind person, touched by both worlds, they have the potential to be a great asset for both sides of this cold war. I have given them their wings. They dive off of the cliff to try and cushion your fall. I couldn't let my host and out most valuable asset die. That would have handed the win to Exor which is not something we can afford. I look forward to contacting you.

Ae0r

Scott felt a sharp sting at the bases of his horns and yelped. Rel ran up to him.
"Scott!" They helped him sit on the floor as his head spun.
"Rel...?" His head hit the ground and everything went black.
