Somethings just live in your head rent-free, baby Natsuo lives in mine. The art for this story was commissioned by me. My friend Ran made it, and she did an amazing job!

"The threat of villains will never truly go away. Without bad, there can be no good, and vice versa. That's one of the reasons I am never quick to judge. Also because no one is born bad, it is something that they learn over time. No one gets to pick and choose what family or life they're born into, you know that firsthand."

Her words came out as soft as always, especially over the phone, making Natsuo ponder about his own life. He had always seen his father as a bastard, his mother was only a little bit better. Trying her hardest to appease a monster for so many years but doing so also made her neglect her other children. Yet, he didn't hate her, never could but that damn Endeavor, well, that was another story.

While walking and pondering, Natsuo Todoroki found himself being caught up in more than just his mind. A kid had just popped out in front of him, dirty, cold, and carrying stolen goods. Their bodies collided, sending the young girl falling onto her butt. Looking down, the dove-haired med student blinked before helping her up.

"Let me go! He's going to get me at this rate."

"Who's going to get you? Are you alright?" In her small hands was a bag of food, something she had taken from a bakery. The owner was chasing her, trying to wiggle free, she ended up dropping the bag. "Oh no!" Reaching out for it, she stops as a pair of feet joined the unknown man's.

"You little thief! I've got you this time, fucking brat." She trembled, knowing that a beating was coming, a swift kick to the head, face, stomach. Covering her head, she waited but no beating came, only another voice. "How much is it?"

"What?"

"How much was the damage or food worth?" Todoroki had gathered what happened rather quickly, it didn't take a genius to figure it out. While the adults talked the young girl made a hasty escape, this caused the baker to get angry. He unleashed a verbal fury upon Todoroki, who calmly took in what was being said. After paying for the stolen goods, the young adult searched for the young girl, sadly he didn't find her.

However, she did find him. Walking up to him was a much older woman, somewhere in her late fifties. Smiling, she introduced herself, saying how she saw what he had done for the young one. As a reward, this lady would let him relive his own childhood for a time. Before the twenty-three-year-old could decline, his head became dizzy and the world faded.

There was a catch to this quirk. It only worked on people that had hard or bad childhoods, and there was only one way to turn them back to their normal age, without the quirk user around. By giving them what they deserved or desired, seems easy right. Well, it wasn't that simple, the person hit with this quirk couldn't flat out tell anyone what they needed, deserve, not fully. For their mind as well as their body was that of a child.

Of course, the quirk user could reverse or cancel the quirk but she would need to be holding the child to do so. It had to be done within a certain amount of days based upon the person's age. "Time to drop you off at the hospital, Natsuo Todoroki."

Waking up in the arms of a stranger would startle anyone, little Natsuo was no different, even if he was now only two or three years old. "Woah there, Natsuo, are you okay?" He blinked, looking into familiar yet unknown eyes, turquoise, and grey. "Shoto, I called mom and dad, they're both on the way. How's Nat..." Fuyumi stopped, her own eyes wide as she took in her brother's appearance.

"He's a toddler..."

"Yes, the doctor said that he's fine. That he was dropped off here by some woman but she didn't stick around for questioning. Whoever it was only told them his name, and that it was a villain attack." While talking, Shouto put his squirming brother down, watching as the toddler roamed around the room.
