Cadets

"Cadet Hiyama reporting for duty!"
A teen girl said vibrantly as she stood at attention with her arm in a salute, her smile was as wide as it would go as her best friend looked over with his arms crossed as it was a more comfortable position for him

"Finally passed training eh?"

Another man said, in truth those two were the top of their class and selected for a special forces program to test how far their limits were, the man looked at the two cadets in front of him before waving his hand for them to follow.

" So you're the two I'm babysitting... The name's Shimo but I go by 'Poltergeist'... Don't ask"

Shimo said as he looked Hiyama, he knew of the other person but there was next to no data on his file

"This is Ghost... He was given the name in training as, well he never uses his name"

Hiyama said as she nudged Ghost's arm with her elbow. Ghost nodded at Shimo before continuing to walk to another room where the rest of their team was waiting. When the three entered the other two members stood up at attention before noticing the others

"Sir... Are these the Cadets you were talking about? I hope they can keep up"

One of the members said as he walked up to Ghost and Hiyama. Ghost's eyes showed he wasn't interested in the comment, but his lower half of his face was covered by a black and red mask with noticeable damage where his right eye was

"These two? They'll just get themselves killed by a common Other"

The other member said as he got into Ghost's face, Hiyama clenched her fist and yelled at the member that insulted them but Ghost put his hand in front of her

"It is fine Hiyama... Words are nothing without evidence who's to say they won't get killed either?"

Ghost said as Shimo put his hands on a desk

"ALRIGHT! Listen up, Ghost, Hiyama meet Demon and Anomaly, we're a special forces squad made for scouting so we go by names that are well fitted for it... Ghost already has one it seems"

Shimo said as he looked at Hiyama, he already knew a name that would suit her and took her to the side to say it while Ghost, Anomaly and Demon started talking about the group

"Are we seriously all Cadets?"

Demon asked as he looked at Ghost who simply nodded at the statement before sitting down and inspecting his weapons

"I take it we all got the highest marks in our classes"

Anomaly said as he noticed the Katana in Ghost's hands, Hiyama returned and sat down. Shimo stood in between the group and smiled

"How about we introduce ourselves, I'm Shimo and I've been in the OSF for around 20 years now, so I'm quite experienced with fighting, Demon?"

Shimo said as everyone looked at him, Demon sighed before talking and everyone listened

"The name is Jay, I go by Demon because I tend to lash out, but it's only in stressful situations"

Demon said as Shimo nodded, he pointed at Anomaly who stood up

"My name is Sam, I guess I'm somewhat overconfident but I'm working on it, I joined because I wanted to make my family proud"

Anomaly said as Hiyama cleared her throat

"I'm Hiyama and I'm happy to be here, I joined up with a few friends but I was one of the few who passed, I also want to help as many people as possible... That's why I joined"

Hiyama said as she smiled, Ghost was cleaning his blade and another blade extended from his left arm and then swung back into place with the blade running down to his elbow

"My name is Ghost... I joined to protect those who cannot protect themselves... I guess you could say I've had prior training in my childhood as a test of survival"

Ghost said as if there was a voice changer in his mask, Shimo nodded and then looked at the time.

"You guys have some free time, you're first mission is in 24 hours, meet me at Kikuchiba tomorrow bright and early, Dismiss"
