Cale would give them a proper answer.

'But first...'

Once he's done gathering his thoughts, Cale slowly opens his eyes and mouth after being silent for way too long to everyone's, including himself, liking.

"Your Highness..."

"Hyung-nim"

"Yes, Hyung-nim"

Cale corrected.

"Am I a good person?"

+

Another unexpected question has startled everyone.

But what hurts them the most is to witness how certain Cale is looking at his sworn brother as if he was sure that the Crown Prince Alberu would agree with him.

+

However, Alberu knows that, just like before, the younger is being serious.

Cale, who's at lost, is seeking for validation.

So Alberu calmed himself down and answered to him truthfully.

"Yes."

He then added seeing his dongsaeng's confused and startled look.

+

"Ha! Look at that pun— young master."

'looking clueless like a cow... Aigoo.'

Archie shakes his head, already expecting this as he continued his comment quietly not to cause uproar from his choice of words.

+

"It has nothing to do with you being people's Hero. Cale Henituse, you are a good person."

Cale lightly frowned and silently wonders if he's still trapped in a scenario as he has predicted earlier. However, he dismissed that idea since the words these people were saying did not went a miss than the facts he knew.

"Hyung-nim. How can I be a good person if I have killed people?"

Alberu did not need to think much as he answered.

"Those 'people' were your enemies. Our enemies. Even Mary and these children had done it."

Cale's scowl deepened.

+

"I mean... it would be hard to always spare each and everyone, young master Cale..."

Litana felt like Cale was too much of a good person that he felt this guilty over killing some people, even though they were in a fierce war where many would die whether it was by his hands or not.

Not to mention, by killing their nemesis, he's basically saving more people on their side.

'Then again... it is young master Cale'

+

"I tortured people"

"To get info from them. Or delivered justice as they have harmed your people"

But the red-head is still adamant, he was keen on his belief, and questioning why his Hyung did not agree with him on this when he should have known more about what's under the surface.

+

" 'What's under the surface' it says. I bet the intention behind those actions were still good by the end of the day."
