Cale let out a shaky breath as he leaned a bit further onto Kim Rok Soo's chest.
"How do you feel?"
Kim Rok Soo asked as he turned to sweat drenched Cale.
"It's bett-"
It was at that moment that Cale finally noticed that he's not the only one who was sweating and shaking.
"Hey, you..."
"This is not much."
Kim Rok Soo stopped him from saying anything as he took some breath himself to control his shakiness.
"I think this body is responding to your breaking soul."
Kim Rok Soo opens and closes his fists for a bit, observing them curiously as it felt slightly different than pain he knew of.
"It feels weird and you must be feeling a lot worse. So don't mind it."
Cale disliked how Kim Rok Soo just dismissed that.
"It is not fair that you-"
"Just think of it as my way to repay you for the selfish decision I've made"
"...fine"
It doesn't seem like it was too hard on Kim Rok Soo. So Cale let it be and accept the help.

"Just... how painful it must be for young master Cale then?"
Mary couldn't help but feel deep concern.
Cale looked like he's been experiencing some excruciating pain that not even her has ever felt before.
And she's a Necromancer who dealt with the pain from dead mana...
Could it be, this was the reason why Cale always said that he's all fine even when he's literally coughing chunks of blood?
Because his pain tolerance is all messed up like that?
highly possibly.

["When I was forty..."
Kim Rok Soo continued to speak.
"The Roan Kingdom was razed to the ground. The Henituse County was ruined as well. I was the only one left alive in our family."]
+
"...wait what?"
Many people gasped in disbelief at the new info.
In the future that their young master has lived before... Roan Kingdom is no more?
+
"Don't worry. I would not let that future happen"
Kim Rok Soo smiled at that reply.
"From the sounds of it, you have changed a lot of things as well. How can I not trust you?"
Cale nodded.
+
"Holy shit"
Gilbert gasped as he closes his mouth with his hand.
And frankly, he was not the only one.
People of the continents know how much of a Hero Cale actually is.
They had seen him bend the fate of the previous scenario as well.
However, they have never really thought just how much the destruction they might have endured had it not for That red-headed Commander's actions...
