1. Due to Illumanties naturally not caring for the human species, in order for them to connect with a human, it would have to happen sometime under the age of 16.
2. There are not a certain amount of stages in order to finish the attachment process, as it all depends on an illum and his or she's human.
3. Illumanties are naturally wild and emotion-based creatures, but even they can not be fully tamed. Not even Eons would be successful with this, and when they were, only lasted a short period of time. However, because humans would be able to feel their illum more on an emotional level, they would most likely be the best solution to calm their illum and tame their emotions.
4. The only time death is not painful for the other, is if the human is dying from old age. Another is if they are dying from some type of disease or illness.
5. The more bloody a death, the more pain it will cause for the other partner.
6. When a human lives far enough to have kids of their own, their illumanti will watch over their children's bloodline for years to continue. Even when their human is long deceased, the illum will see them through the eyes of their children.
For example: When Hannah died, Akuma took Aiko's place in being Lucio's illum to watch over him and Aaron(Mystery looked over Felix in his dreams while Akuma paid attention to his psychical body, Aaron, while still looking after Lucio.) When Lucio has Lucinda, Milo, & Ivy, Akuma will watch over them as well. And their kids, and their kids, and their kids. Mystery will do the same.
7. Illumanties are naturally possessive toward anyone they care about. It is because of this, it is impossible for two illumanties to be just ONE human's guardian. This is why although Akuma watches over Aaron, he is still more strongly attached to Lucio. The same goes for Mystery.
