CHAOS MAGIC'S HISTORY: A source created by uncontainable power, chaos magic can manipulate, warp, and reconstruct the fabric of existence and reality to the user's very whims. If developed to it's max, this source can be used to fulfill prophesies or annihilate the cosmos. Thousands of years ago, the late Goddess Celestia was granted permission to take bits and pieces of energy from the void's source to create the first being of chaos magic to rule over Earth in hopes of crushing the life that lived there for her own purposes unknown— in other words, giving them the freedom to turn it into whatever they chose: including damnation. Unlike Satan, the being didn't come out with red horns and tail — no, she was beautiful. Pretty red locs touched the grass she walked, her grace being enough to trick the angels above into thinking she was one of them. She didn't have the heart to give into Celestia's plans, for she saw the beauty and love that came on the planet that was Earth. Rather than fulfill her Archon's wishes, the embodiment swore to protect the planet than destroy it. Angered by yet another failure, Celestia took back what she thought was all of the Chaos magic— only leaving enough so the vessel could protect itself before throwing it away to live out it's days on Earth. As the years turned into centuries, the Chaos grew reckless in it's contained bottle. Fearing what may happen if it went any longer without a worthy host, Celestia gave the source away to Clemance Kurolio, one of the original Illumanties whose species were on the verge of extinction. But unfortunately with his death Chaos perished alongside him.. Or so those thought.
SPECIES TYPES: Chaos welders are not born, they are forged. Meaning, that anyone can become a welder of such power as long as the energy source deems them worthy.
CHAOS POWER RANKINGS:
— 1. The Scarlet Archon(King/Queen): The Scarlet King, also known as "The Blood of Chaos" is an ancient deity who is portrayed as an ruthless, powerful monarch said to bring the current world to destruction. After learning about the true cruel nature of existence, they thought that reality should not exist and became hellbent on destroying everything in their wake, especially the most sinful place of all: Earth. Within the prophecy, it is shown that the Scarlet Archon has no true personality of their own, and is instead shaped by nature through their own personal experiences in life. This deity is worshipped in various satanic churches and cult groups, the most prominent and ringleader of them all being a silvermane family who call themselves the Children of Sin. Together, these groups believe in the bloody hierarchy of strength around the world who see their ruler as the only being able to save them. While their true powers are unknown, legends portray him as capable to conquer and destroy entire worlds— even being able to challenge those above head on. Their very existence threatens The Balance in The Void, making them a multiversal threat if their powers aren't being used for the greater good.
— 2. God/Goddess of Chaos: The Goddess of Chaos, also known as "The Vessel" or "Embodiment of Chaos" was the first being with the energy source to emerge at the dawn of creation. Made out of chaos, strife, and discord, the deity is often described in Greek Mythology as an antagonist. Due to being second in the ranking, this deity is able to freely go across the different worlds and realms as much as they please. As most Welders do, they can also shape and manipulate Chaos magic for different effects such as forming tangible constructs of energy or cast spells without incantation. Because of this they're able to subconsciously use their power without needing constant concentration— in other words, "magic on Autopilot." Their spells are self taught and unlimited, making them unpredictable to any enemies trying to figure out their next step. But alas, great power means great responsibility.. and sacrifices. Chaos magic takes a toll on one's mental strength and physical appearance— it is why welders must learn to control it before the source can control them. The energy source has a mind of it's own, and it's up to the God or Goddess to always keep a level-head, otherwise they may become a puppet rather than a vessel.
— 3. The Scarlet Witch/Sorcerer: As a result of exposure to the void's cosmic energies, this deity will gain an array of psionic powers. These powers are what manifests a luminescent mist of vapor red emanating from their hands or body, resembling the Chaos Magic they've managed to control. When using their telepathic abilities, the deity's eyes will glow a dark red color as well.
