CALLI'S POV
"I'm gonna open the door." Kiara says shaking.
"What! Are you insane? After what happened?" Gura says.
"Trust her." I plead as I put my hand on Gura's shoulder. She hesitates before nodding.
"Just be careful." Ina says.
Kiara then creeps up to the door and slowly opens it. A child was on the other side of that door. A child so skinny you could see his ribs. No older than 6. He was beaten and bruised. He looked...broken.
"P-please. Need...food." The child says as he collapses into Kiara's arms. She turned back. All of us are horrified. Who would treat a child this way?
2 Days Later...
I haven't slept since that boy stumbled into Kiara's house.
"How is he?" Gura says sadly.
"Ame is gonna go to the police department to look for clues as to who this kid is." I respond.
"And how's Kiara?"
"Kiara hasn't left the kid. She's been by his bed side the whole time. She hasn't eaten anything either."
A crash can be heard from the bedroom.
"KIARA!" I say as I bash the door open. The kid was horrified. Huddled in the corner of the room.
"It's okay. We're not here to hurt you." Kiara says crouching. "Are you hungry?" The boy remains silent, staring intently at Kiara.
"Calli, get me some of those sandwiches in the refrigerator please." she asks.I nod and go down to the kitchen. After grabbing it, I rush back upstairs and hand it to her.
"Here. It's yours. You can have it." Kiara kindly says holding the sandwich out to him. He hesitates before quickly grabbing the sandwich and devouring it.
"My name is Kiara. The hot girl with the pink hair is Calli. The one with blond hair is Ame. The one with tentacles is Ina. And the one with the shark tail is Gura."
I blush. "Not in front of him or the others Kiara."
The boy looks at all of us. "What's your name?" Kiara quietly asks.
".........A...ku..." He mutters.
"Can you repeat that?" Kiara asks.
"......Akuma......." He says as he tears up. We all gasp. That's the Japanese meaning for Devil.
"We are not calling him that." Ina says.
"Yeah that's not okay." Gura adds.
"Where are your parents?" I ask calmly.
"...Akuma...need...food..." he responds.
"Where do you live?" Kiara asks handing him another sandwich.
