Months ago, I wanted to write something about a vocalist and a girl whom he wrote songs for. Wala, ang cute lang kasi ng idea. I also remember going gaga on a certain band. I still listen to them from time to time whenever I feel down in spirits. And it's also worth mentioning that in a certain day from three years ago, I met someone online whom I shared my interests and confided my deepest thoughts in. Spoiler alert: he ghosted me. He knows I writes and I remember telling him my username before so if he sees this story... hi, this story is made because you ghosted me!
Ladies and gays, this is your daily reminder to never go ghost on a writer because she might write you a story, laughs.
I placed some of our conversations here. But I'm not telling you which is which. My lips are sealed. So there you go, my want to write a vocalist plus the ghosting idea equals this story as a result! I'm actually proud of how this epistolary turned out and I think my humor's improving by 1%, lol.
Anyway, just like Finn, the guy I used to talk to understood the assignment and comforted me with words. We always talked at midnights, gaya nina Celestine at Finn. He made me realize a lot of things, and with that included is the art of asking someone. Asking if they're still okay, if they have any problems I can help with, or if they are having a hard time.
It wouldn't hurt to ask someone how their day went or if they are still holding on to life. These days, it's so easy to give up on things. Everyday is just getting hard and harder, I feel you. I hope Celestine made you realize that giving up is 'not' a thing. Magpapahinga ka, pero babangon din. Iiyak mo muna, pero kakayanin mo pa. Hindi ka nag-iisa, may kasama ka.
Sabi nga ni Finn, "Pain needs to be expressed. Don't keep it suppressed."
If you are having a hard time, please don't keep it to yourself and talk to someone. Here are some of the numbers you can call when you need someone to talk to:

Email: drainethefirst@gmail.comI also would like to include that we should not judge anyone else so easily. If we don't know their side of the story, who are we to judge them? Sometimes, it's better to keep quiet than say anything at all. Let's avoid adding fuel to fire. Please stay away from internet fights too. At first, they may look entertaining to watch and read, but in all honesty, they are tiring and petty.
And please, please stop victim blaming and sharing links to private videos online. If they are entertaining to you, they are not to the victims. Itigil niyo na 'yung kaka-gan'yan kasi hindi nakakatuwa sa totoo lang. There's no happiness in hurting others. Kahit pa hindi natin sila kilala. It's just basic decency to shun wrong deeds, no matter how many people tolerates them.
Ang dami ko ng sinabi, lol.
Lastly, thank you for reaching this far in reading One Hundred Percent! Big thank you rin sa mga nag-abang ng updates! You know who you all are. I honestly love reading your comments and thoughts (tinatawanan ko pa 'yung iba). I appreciate you in taking your time to read. Hugs!
