Julian ordered a bunch of pizzas and Tolveck began acting like his usual self. Carter smiled, he hadn't seen Tolveck like this in days. Haley left to pick up the food while Carter and Julian stayed. Tolveck was just happy to have all his friends around, and not fear him.

Tolveck and Julian simply talked about DND while Carter got an explanation from Tolveck about all the classes and stuff. Carter actually got pretty invested with this stuff and began inputting some of his own ideas into the conversation.

Haley arrived with the pizza, she nibbled on a slice as she came in. She placed the pizzas on the counter and walked towards the massive feet pausing at the ege of the tent as Tolveck began to speak.

"Who dares to appear before the giant of the hills!?" Tolveck demanded in a deep, but quiet voice. Haley poked her head out.

"I Dare Sir! Haley Of The Pizza Isle!" She called out. Julian burst out laughing on Tolveck's tall shoulder. Tolveck carefully plucked the hysterical Julian off his shoulder and placed him on his palm.

Julian scrambled to the floor in search of this mystical pizza. Carter poked his head out of a little cubical he had built. He rushed over and picked up a slice of pineapple, Haley and Julian looked over at him in disgust.
"You just haven't tried it!" Carter scoffed at them. He hid back into his cubical. Julian yoinked a slice and pranced back to Tolveck.
Haley stifled a laugh as Tolveck pet Julian and they growled back at him. Tolveck plucked a pizza box and emptying it into his mouth. Haley decided to go hang out with Carter.
She took her own slice and followed him, carefully stepping in. Carter was on his phone, scrolling through news articles. Haley stepped up towards the phone. He tipped it down and smiled at her.
"Hey Haley, what can I do for you?"
"So, I- I was wondering if, there is a slight chance we could go on a walk again."
"You forgot what to ask, didn't you?"
" N-yeah... but that was a question I had." She admitted. Carter nodded and swivelled around so Haley could see his phone. He opened Google maps.
"This is the plan I had," He pointed at a grey line on the screen. "This is the walk path, it goes up and around back to your apartment, house thing... anyways, it leads to a nice mountain area, shielded by satellites and whatnot." Carter looked up at her for feed back.
"Y-you really thought of everything." Haley spoke, she leaned on his chair. "Are you ever scared of him?"
Carter looked up at her, she was genuinely curious. "I- I do... at times." He said. He curled up in his chair. "Mainly, when he gets super happy, or angry, or in pain. Have, have you seen him from the floor standing?" Carter eased a bit, Haley shook her head. "It- it makes you feel..." Small, defenceless, tiny. "Unworthy if that makes sense, like, you shouldn't be there." Carter shuffled more onto the chair. Haley put an arm around him.
"Carter, bud, there's a couple people I would like you to meet, and Tolveck should too." Haley spoke calmly. Carter raised an eyebrow. "One, that was epic and two, they're safe, I've known them for a while and supposedly... we'll have to see if what they said was true."
"Rumours?" Carter asked.
"They aren't from here." Haley gripped her arm. "I promised them the same thing I promised you, but, it's a good opportunity."
"Get a hold of them first." Carter stood, Haley gripped tighter. He passed her and put an arm around her. "If you are for sure, then I'll accept it. Just make sure Tolvecks fine with it." Carter said as he left. Haley nodded.
She followed him out as he went outside, Haley swerved to Tolveck and Julian.
"Hey Julian, Tolveck! Get your butt's over here!"
