Waking up in the morning and wondering why your alarm clock didn't wake you up, is a stupid question. Why? Because the second you ask yourself about it, it goes off. Not only does it intend to scare you, but it's a very annoying sound. Some people would even prefer to wake up before the alarm to stop it and not give it a chance to ring it's happy tune.
But hey, at least it's summer time, which meant, no - school. Oh how thankful to that you were. Only thinking about school gave you the sudden urge to knock something down.

Back to the story; you sat down and looked around your room. The 'homework table' was left untouched from the moment school took a break. You mostly spent your time either way in the kitchen or in your own room; reading, playing games or chatting online.
You stood up and walked past your closet, walking straight out of your room and towards the bathroom. You see, the summer is the time when you're too lazy to change into anything other than your pajama, not like you weren't lazy before, it's just that summer is something else. More, special. You could spend your days without leaving your room with an endless connection to WiFi and a bucket of icecream. But life was so cruel, it created a thing called school.

After walking out of the shower fresh and clean; you made your way downstairs. Like always, your mother was already at work, while your sister at a friend's house. Home alone. Again.
Not like you were against it or anything. It just that sometimes you didn't understand why you needed a family if you never really interacted with each other much.
Shaking the unwanted thoughts out of your head, you grabbed an apple and with a quick run towards the sofa, you jumped down on the nice and comfy furniture. You turned on the tv and searched for something interesting.

A headline of the News report made you stop yourself from leaving the most boring channel on the TV.
'Seven victims so far of the Kidney Thief'
"What in the world..?" You wondered aloud as you looked at the tv screen. You usually wouldn't be so interested in any news report. But this one was quite interesting. Frightening, more at that.
So far there's been seven victims. All from the city that you live in. Two of which were students. One who you recognized as an annoying girl from a grade above you.
She was killed last.
Found dead in her own house just yesterday.
And she was your neighbor.
Just across the street from your own house.

Holy hell.
