<This one's long because stuff are actually happening in this chapter! Anyways, leave a comment, something that would actually let me know that someone want me to continue. No seriously right now I'm doing this cuz I'm bored xD>
Considering that the girl who you pretty much hated was murdered just across the street was shocking. You even forgot the apple you were chewing on.
It's true that a lot of students didn't like her, no one wished her death though.. Okay maybe some did, but not as in the real thing - death. And she was killed in her own house. The place that should have been safe and protect her from any harm. Another thought hit you, and you turned white as a ghost. She was murdered across the street. Your street. Way too close to y-
"What are you watching?"
Oh how much that little voice scared you. You let out a scream that any blonde protagonist from any horror movie would be ashamed of, while the apple was thrown at the poor person who dared to scare you. Turning around like a scared cat, you saw that the voice belonged to your dear little sister.
Luckily the apple didn't hit her, or else your mother would have scolded you later. Oh but how much you wish it had.
"What are you doing here?! I thought you left-!" You spoke in a whisper-yell, for no specific reason.
Why are you so scared anyways, it's not like somebody scared you half to death and there's a weird serial killer on the loose. Oh wait...
The girl with the (bright/dark) hair put her little arms on the sofa's back, trying to look taller. Her smirk made you want to tickle her to death. In a 'sisterly' way. Of course. "I scared ya', didn't I?"
"..no you didn't."
"I did! I did! If only you saw your face!"
"You didn't scare me! You just.. just surprised me!"
You would never admit that an eight year old scared you, without even trying to. Sure as daylight she wouldn't forget it to you.
Turning the tv off as the curious child walked around the sofa and sat down next to you, she asked, with big innocent eyes, the same question from before; "What are you watching?"
Telling a kid that there's a murdered in town was wrong. Why? Because you feared her reaction, any reaction. Either way a 'oh that's so cool!' reaction, or a 'w-what.. someone actually died?' one. "Pff not your midget business. So, I thought you were at your best friend's house? Having a tea party-" "No we're not friends any more..!" How rude and annoying was it when a little kid cut in in what you were saying.
In (S/N) it was the worse. She saw herself as a princess, while you, most likely were the slave. 'Princess my ass, more like the Red Queen from Wonderland..' You thought to yourself while looking at your sister, who now was fiddling with her fingers.
"(Y/N) do we have icecream?"
... "Yes."
"Oh.. then go buy me some marshmallow. We don't have 'em, right?"
You were about to flip off. It was obvious that she just wanted you to go and buy something for her. "Mom's not here deary. I'm not going anywhere." You grinned with victory at the small child that was now looking at you. You crossed your arms and made yourself comfortable as to show the youngster that you're not planning on going anywhere any time soon.
Your sister, however, was now starring at you with those big (color) eyes and that small frown- oh she was using the puppy eyes trick! You were about to fall for it when the little demon added; "I'll tell mommy you kicked me off the stairs.."
Well, you were going to agree to go out even without her saying that sinister sentence, but oh well.Half an hour later you were walking down the street towards the supermarket. The little worm had won once again.
You had a (color) hoodie over your pajama shirt, and dark (jeans/sweatpants/shorts/skirt/whatever) on. To calm down your nerves a bit, you grabbed your phone and a set of earbuds on the way out, and currently you were listening to (fav. song). That little- you didn't even check if you have any marshmallow packages anywhere, she might have tricked you or something. But what were her motives, just to get you out the house and make a fool out of you, to free the TV so she could watch something, or maybe you really don't have any marshmallow left? Ah heavens knows.
Paying for the package of pink marshmallow, you walked out of the store and pulled the hood of the hoodie up. It wasn't too hot outside anyways.
You were kind of tired, maybe you should sleep bit more. It's summer after all. Yet you set an alarm clock for a reason; so you won't get used to sleeping all day; and why is that bad? Oh maybe because when school starts your whole sleep graphic will show a number on you.
Speaking of time, it started to get dark already, you might had spend a while watching TV.
Walking by the park, your gloomy face expression changed into one of mischief, as a great idea popped into your head.
Staying in the park for a few hours and leaving (S/N) without a snack was the least you could do as revenge. And so, you walked into the park and sat down under an oak tree. After what felt like a few hours, which in reality was only half an hour; you wasted your cellphone battery on chatting and playing games. Not like you loved the game Flappy Bird, but you were really bored. "Stupid phone.." You mumbled as the logo of (phone company) showed up for a few seconds before the screen went black, and your phone shut down. Munching on your sister's marshmallows, you looked up to see the park was pretty dark.
"Shesh, if there's a killed going around, wouldn't it be right to fix the lights in the park-" talking to no one in particular, you came to a sudden stop as you realized what you just said. Maybe you just watch too many horror movies, but this whole scenery reminded you of almost every movie you watched. Besides, if your mother is at home she'll be worried.
So let's say that you jumped up and started walking home, very fast, only because you don't want your mother to worry and not because you're scared. Yet half of the way back, all the tension had left your body and you were walking home like nothing in the world could harm you.
Or so you though.
You were walking by an alleyway when a cat jumped out of nowhere and, seeing a human being, ran back into the dark. So yes, you did put a hand over your mouth to stop a yelp escape, but afterwards you smiled and looked into the alleyway. "Hey kitty... where'd you go? I have a treat.." You whispered quietly. The alley was quiet and not a soul was seen. So you walked right into the darkness with the bag of marshmallows in hand, calling the skinny cat.You don't know what was the stupidest move; to think that a cat would eat marshmallow or the point that you walked into a dark alleyway while knowing that it wasn't safe?
Clank. You sure as hell know that the cat in front of you didn't make the noise that came from behind you.
