I was sick to death of my parents. My favourite band were In town and all they did was moan on about how I shouldn’t be going and their music is effecting my behaviour. No what was effecting my behaviour was their shit parenting skills.

“Ok Emma. We will be out side at about quarter to ten. The concert finishes at ten be out as soon as you can” I moaned “Emma?” My dad sounded so stubborn and stern, Because he was. I’m an only child unfortunately. I swear my parents didn’t even want kids they way the treated me. “Ok fine what ever see you later” I got out from the back seat and slammed the door. For one night even if it was just for a couple of hours I could forget about my parents and focus on music and bands and being around people who like the same thing as me.

People In line looked all kinds of awesome. There were people who had make up like Kier. Looking like they had been crying and had mascara running down their face. Red fringes.

People looking like Laurence in the could we burn, darling? Video. With the blue eye liner and blue tears.

People like Drew and Luke with just black eye shadow and eye liner and maybe a top hat and waist coat.

But people here mainly looked like Barrone. Steampunk goggles. Every other person was wearing steampunk goggles. I had brought mine with me. I tried to combine everyone. I had a waist coat a top hat my goggles a red fringe and Laurence make up.

The atmosphere inside was amazing. I ran to the stage and got front row. Ashes to Angels came on first. Adam Crilly was amazing. They played for roughly 30 minutes then went off. Next the dead lay waiting came on. Luke Lucas had amazing hair I think every girl in the room would kill him for it.

After what seemed like a wait forever. Music played. Luke stepped on stage. The crowd screamed. Drew stepped on stage. The crowd screamed. Barrone stepped on stage. The crowd screamed. Kier stepped on stage. The crowd screamed louder. Laurence stepped on stage. The crowd screamed it’s loudest.

They broke into Bite Down On My Winchester. My throat started hurting but I didn’t care. The music and atmosphere took over me completely. I didn’t want this to end. If this night ended I don’t think I could be normal again. It was to perfect to surreal.

Could we burn, Darling? Was their final song. “Everyone make your best sex noise” Laurence screamed into the microphone. And we did. We all made strange noises.

The boys went of stage. Everyone headed for the main entrance. I didn’t. I stood aside and let a few tears fall. I was so star struck by it all. I was so happy. Until I pulled out my phone and saw missed calls of both my mum and dad.

If they thought I was going back to them they had another thing coming.

Everyone, like I said headed for the main entrance. But not me. I headed for the back doors. I stepped out into the street. The cool night air made me realise how hot the academy was. I decided on running down the street. I didn’t stop I got faster and faster. I felt a sense of freedom. I was laughing like I had been set free from a life of torture. Which I had.

I bumped into someone. “Emma there you are” The smiled wiped off my face as I looked up to see my mother. “Come back to the car now” She smiled and put her hand out. I looked at her in a disgusted manor. I’m not 5 I don’t hold her hand now. “No” I ran off again back they way I came. I kept running. My dad was chasing after me. If he catches me I’m in so much trouble

Then I saw a red van. The back doors were open. I’ll be in less trouble off who ever owns this van than my parents. So I climbed in. And I hid. I watched my dad run past it.
